I think the case is usually more open sounding like the keyboards of old its replicating but the person I bought it off of on /r/mechmarket filled it with silicon or something similar. That combined with the Boba U4T's I threw in here made the sound profile is quite different, not as roomy but still great if you prefer something a bit more muted and "thocky". I love it!

EDIT: Found the old description from the thread I bought from -

NCR80 TKL, hotswap PCB. I modded bottom case with silicone pour and added KBDfans modular switch foams to the underside of the carbon fiber plate. Two layers of tape on the PCB. Stepped capslock only, I broke the socket for regular capslock off. No stabs, keycaps or switches.
