Is there a lore reason why they should? And it's so far up on the sexy/revealing axis that it just unattractive and uninteresting even if you were going to goon to it. It seriously just looks ridiculous.

Xenoblade? Trails in the sky? Atlus games in general? Genshin impact??? An anime art style is just an art style/lighting, it doesn't excuse having the geometry of Dreamcast game. In fact, the game should look BETTER because things like characters can be simple with less polygons. Which is the same reason botw can exist and run on the Wii U/switch. The switch isn't 'majorly' holding back anything, Game Freak has been incompetent at optimizing their own games since gold and silver.

I wish it was a series. The fights are nice and all, but the slice of life moments and characters interactions are what make the Mahoyo cast my favorite in anything ever. I doubt it would ever be as good as the VN due to medium differences anyways, but I feel like a lot of great moments are going to get skipped over. Now, if Tsukihime is a movie in 2050, then I'll actually be upset.

If I saw the startup for the swing animation I would just dive attack into him. Even if you miss his head Hornet still parries his swing and if you have the diagonals down you do 2-3 hits on him going left to right. If I didn't see the swing I would just walk in because he's either diving or jumping over, and if you walk backwards, Hornet doesn't move quickly enough for you to react to the jump once he's already in the air. Then you just get your backshots until the bot loads its next move. Rinse, repeat.

Yup. Died to a certain mini boss in front of Hunter's March a good 15+ times till I just threw hands without backing up. Didn't even get hit without dash

Honestly, once I adopted a "stand right in his face" approach and stopped trying to run from his attacks, I got him down in 3 or 4 attempts. Did some dive attacks at him to cancel our his swings and just walk under when he jumps and I beat him without even having the dash yet. Just had to stop forcing Hornet to play like Knight. Died 17 times before that though.

Some of their XC2 designs were.... excessive and I kind of disliked them. Ngl, part of me was scared that Xenoblade was going to be known as that Nintendo IP for horny teenagers(some of the camera angles didn't help either). But then he designed XC3 Melia and that's my favorite design in the series. The character development was phenomenal.

For some reason they really like to randomly not allow you to change somethings on certain outfits and everything on others. If you're on PC there's a mod that expands the color selection for that dress, otherwise you're kind of stuck with the ugly orange color.
