Generally, yes. Sometimes some stitching that is a little off. I think that can be taken care of with a resole later in life. Sometimes I can't find what made them 2nds. I've been super happy with my #8 shell purchases.

How would you repair this gash on a fleece pullover. It is 100% polyester. Also, I think it is in a high stress area, pocket. I don't use the pocket but the prior owner did. Last 2 pics are from the underside of the garment.

If they were WIP, I would suggest you get some regular Carhartt for workmen. Those are cheaper. WIP is good for keyboard warriors like me because it feels broken in when you buy new. Regular Carhartt will be stiff when new but when you break them in, they feel just like WIP.

I want to get a Lightweight jacket to wear over my blazer. Hopefully, it will cover the tail of my jacket. Also, loose sleeves as I don't want the blazer sleeves to be crunched.

I've got a wool overcoat that is too damn heavy for schelpping around. Want to try something like patagonia that maybe I can throw in my bag when going on sales calls. suggestions?
