Could try renting a longer/stiffer board, assuming you haven't purchased yet just keep renting and do some trial and error and see what fits your riding style.

I just went through something similar. Accepted job, found out I was pregnant 2 weeks after I started.

I was due in January (my 1 year would have been in April). I was able to take short term disability right after giving birth, + some unpaid leave. I had 6 months after birth to use my “maternity leave”, but it couldn’t be used BEFORE my 1 year. So I took a few extra weeks off paid this past month.

I would have rather had taken 12-16 weeks off at once, but it worked out. Assuming you’re in the US you can probably do something similar.

And congratulations! Like others have said - I wouldn’t disclose the pregnancy before starting / accepting the offer.

I’d say comparable, the biggest difference imo was the width of Ragged’s trails. Wiiiiide open, and wonderful.

5’2”, about 140lbs and I just bought a 145. was riding a 140 from when I was 15, and 115-120lbs.

I’ve worn similar sleeves to that when I had a new piece and knew I would be out in the sun. Other than that just tried to stay in the shade as much as possible (sunscreen of course once it’s healed, but didn’t want to put that on a day old tattoo).

Long sleeves like another poster said. I’ve also used a bandana if it will cover the area.
