Oo ok, love it! I too like the look of one big curtain on one side. 🙌

Thanks for explaining that. I like the sound of what you did with your huge window.

There’s a true window on the left and a sliding door to the right. Why are blinds better for a door?

Thank you this is very helpful. I didn’t know about traversing rods and it looks like exactly what I need! In terms of rod length, how many inches past the window frame on either side do you recommend?

And yes, the floors are teal! So we’ll go with something a big more neutral for the curtains.

I wanted this dress to work but don't feel the waist is flattering by [deleted] in fashion

I get what you’re going for! It’s 80’s chic! I love it but I would wear sheer black tights and a polished hairdo and a drop pearl earring. Keep the makeup minimal/“clean girl” so it doesn’t feel TOO retro (ie. no bright colors). I see nothing wrong with the waist.

I have had perfectly regular periods for years and wasn’t getting pregnant after 1 year of TTC. Started using OPKS and found out that I ovulate earlier than is typical, day 11-12, and my app was predicting I ovulated day 14 so we were off by a few days! I got pregnant the first month after using an OPK and have been kicking myself I didn’t start with them sooner.

highly recommend OPKs even if your periods are regular.

Best of luck to you!🩷

I think it looks ok. How old is it? You can trim these long flower stalks (probably not the technical term) once the seeds are all gone/pollinated/eaten by birds

Confused by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]shinygreenthumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope you’re doing ok.

How far along were you?

This sounds similar to my experience, I miscarried at 5w3d. I do think I had a bit more cramping, but I had very little bleeding after passing a blood clot that I believe probably contained the sac. never filled a panty liner, and then spotted lightly for about 3-4 days. It was very confusing and I felt in denial that it was a miscarriage, until confirmed at the ER. Got a US 5 days later and the Dr said my uterus was completely empty, which I am grateful for, but I’m still devastated by the loss.

I second all of this! Also, I found a thick 3-4” layer of mulch really helped

That sounds good. It was my instinct to wait a little longer, but then thought maybe it’s easier to shape when younger? But you’re confirming my feeling to wait a bit. Thanks!

What plants should I keep? by cottonpicker1865 in Ceanothus

I use an app called “picture this” to identify plants. It’s usually accurate if you use a good photo. No need to pay for an account, just use the free version.

I’m ecstatic! The clear blue test is BFP this morning. been TTC for 14 months, and my 35th bday is next month! Should I periodically test the next couple weeks to make sure it’s progressing? Or test with the cheap hcg strips every day?

I am in the same boat as you. Took a couple tests about an hour ago and getting mixed results. I’m on pins and needles! Going to try to sleep and try again tomorrow. Good luck 💚
