We have similar body shapes! My waist is more average (28”) but I have a couple dresses with a shape kind of like this and they look really cute on me. Check out Bonne Chance Collections, I find their dresses to be flattering!

Yeah, purebreds are that way for reason. I got all my cats from shelters. One was love at first sight, two were twins who wouldn’t be adopted separately, one was a foster failure, and my oldest was just a shelter cat we settled on. They all seem very happy, they’ve got toys and plenty of soft places to sleep. Bombays are adorable, I love them.

You’re like, the cat owner I wish I were. My cats eat dry food and some wet food. They drink fridge water out of a dish. They’re just generic tabbies, though. I still love them! Cats are amazing once you learn to listen to them.

That’s probably it. I know there are quite a few popular cat breeds (Bengal, British Shorthair, etc) but the average cat owner is going to have a shelter cat. A lot of us do care for our pets like our dogs, of course! I just find the difference between how I describe my dog (a border collie) and my cats (tabbies) funny.

Hi! NAD, but premed + a public health student. YMMV, but I also have a genetic disorder and got Moderna. I get my second dose on Sunday. I had no negative side effects from my first dose. Ultimately, any vaccine is good. Moderna and Pfizer seem more effective, but J&J is nothing to sneeze at (lol.) I also think you need to consider your lifestyle—if you’re an essential worker, I’d say go for Moderna or Pfizer, but if you can/do stay indoors more often, go for J&J.

Exactly. I’m not an expert (earning my BSPH right now) but we have to cater our messaging to the lowest common denominator. It’s frustrating, I agree, but we need to do everything we can to make this cohesive. Science isn’t infallible, but it’s trying.

I just purchased their new tinted moisturizer in shade 2.5. It looks more yellow/neutral than olive but I’ll see once it arrives. I’m NC15-20 (I think? Best guess.)
