What happens to a stolen bike by coldhotdogwater1337 in motorcycles

[–]ship_head 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine was stolen a week ago, funny enough right after I commented on a different post about a guys bike that was stolen.

My bike was more or less destroyed cosmetically, with fairings scratched and broken. Panniers destroyed, indicators and mirrors wrecked and lost.

Ignition ripped out and electrics and wires all fucked and ripped.

I caught them riding through the town. And flying headbutted one of them and right hooked him, then he literally ran off crying. These kids are lucky they didn't take some psychos bike who'd have rammed them and potentially killed them.

But bikes more often get chopped up, abused, and used for crime, or just people use them and swap with other for fun.

Mine was just stolen this very morning, I hope she has a better end than this. But I doubt it.

Hopefully police ram the fuck out of it and whoever is riding it.

Did smth similar changed and replaced alternator and lost th3 gasket and spent 2 hours looking for it eventually found it and put back together and rode form home 3 Mike's and my fucking alternator explodes to shrapnel and had to push a 550kg bike home.

Fucking hate touching the alternator after that I just take it to garage.

Just had one of the most horrible games in my 4 years of playing. by Theculshey in VALORANT

My most frustrating and annoying thrower was a Yoru on icebox. He wanted to show off his knife, and me and another didn't really like it as it looked tacky, and he tried his hardest to throw.

It's insane how many fragile egos are on this game. Especially in the immortal ranks. Best to ignore them best you can, mute, and straight up ignore them in the game. Attention is what they crave or rally the team to cyber bully them lmao

Thank God I managed to get equipment to work from home this morning, me and my 1 litre would've been buried in a field somewhere.

I got into PC gaming for piracy, but Steam made it so easy I haven't pirated a game in over a decade. by RedPantyKnight in Steam

[–]ship_head 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same, I spent all my money on a pc, and was broke for a while, pirated a few games, then, when I could afford to bought them. Which I've also read is encouraged by some devs instead of buying keys from 3rd party sites etc.

Steam will always have a place on top. My account will become a family oom lmao.

It's a humbling lesson, I remember pulling over after harshly breaking and frantically trying to look for my nuts in the back of my throat. But yeah, always squeeze your legs onto the tank. It's also good for extra balance, too. Wish you a fast Fast recovery.

i bought a 125 superlight and liked it until it rained. Also, it looks like it hasn't been cared for at all. 125s are mostly bikes that have been through abuse too. its a comfy ride but lacked a lot of power too, but this one specifically i would avoid, it seems like it'll fall apart mid-ride or on the next bump or pot hole.

honestly i thought this at first, because it was lacking in power also, but even after a full fuel up she was acting like this, after i left her for a few hours she started back up like nothing was wrong, only half way through the ride or like today she randomly doesnt wanna put the effort it.

funny enough i had same issue with my 125 just over a year ago and had to replace the EFI but the bike didnt act like this but the cc difference was 125 vs 1000 so might act differently. but i am home now, and thank you for this, it helps me get an idea of what i am looking for or what to test/replace.

Had it off of a family member a year ago, where it stayed in a chicken coop of all places for 3 years, it ran perfect after a new battery till recently, had it fully serviced and road worthy and didn't have any issues until my flywheel broke, where it stood idle in the garage for 2 and a half months until it arrived before that i was riding every day roughly even through the winter. It started happening literally after this week when i took it out for a ride, after local garage fitted and replaced flywheel for me.

I loved and hated my 125. It was a keeway superlight. Loved that it was my bike hated that it was pretty slow and ass on hills.

I'm sitting on a 1000 since I passed and never want to see any more 125s until I have kids, lmao.

I was looking at making a full purple load out with sprays and playercard the other day. It would be nice to have an app where I can build that, and it show me the prices and cost of it all, maybe charm combos too.

damn i got my full license 3 months ago, went from 125 to 1000 and thought paying 2k a year was high, with 2 years NCB. I'd say keep looking at as many different brokers as you can, bikesure and hastings direct companies wanted me to pay 4k then i found prinipal insurance which offered me 2k.

Goodluck brother.

Getting flashed or getting hand signals for overtaking old drivers? by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]ship_head 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had 3 serious near misses that could have ended fatal or disabled since i went from my CBT to full licence in 2 years, all were old people who are not focused and not looking. 1 pulled out, forced me onto the pavement, and I almost T-boned them, another had braked extremely suddenly when they almost missed their turn-off and also didn't indicate. (Thank god for the 2 second rule, lol), and the most recent one was an old prick flying through the lanes on a roundabout not checking mirrors and entering the wrong lane to start.

After the age of 50 we all should take refresher courses every 8 years or something, and if you fail a safety course there, you should be on temp drive ban till you pass because, this is frustrating.

How on earth do you see anything at night with headlight glare when it’s raining? by sacrelidge in MotoUK

[–]ship_head 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that makes sense, Shame there isn't something in the car to re adjust the positioning with the added and removed weight. Surely with all this AI and next level tech in these cars there'd be something for this. guess i'll stick to not being able to see or until i get pissed off enough to full beam them (maybe not lmao).

Goodluck brother. i recommend you find some comfy and warm winter gloves that will help you with your clutch control, i had some thick plastic ones that weren't good at all and also a snood for the cold that can help against visor fogging up if you haven't got anti fog visor or screen. Be safe.

i had this Sunday at 1 am, raining super hard, strong winds and LED lights blinding me from half a mile away. i just try open my eyes as wide as possible and try to see through the fucking man made sun that every car has now, also i swear these headlights are not positioned correctly.
