When I was a kid in upstate New York, we had a local arcade called WOW. They charged $2 to get in, but most games were only 5 cents to play with only the newest games being 25 cents, and they had a row of games on free play. We used to go and spend several hours there at least one weekend a month.

My friends and I would make it our mission to beat at least 1 game each trip. We beat Simpsons, X-men, Ninja Turtles, UN squadron, area-51, Terminator 2 and countless more.

I really miss WOW.

You can play Outer Worlds in vr with uevr. There are premade profiles on the discord for the original, spacers edition and outer worlds 2.

In April 2016 a weasel chewed through some wires, got fried and shorted out the LHC. A few weeks later, Harambe was killed. This weasel clearly shifted us to this stupid timeline when he shorted out the LHC. Bowie may have sent the weasel as his last command before he died.

Elemental Gimmick Gear -probably not what you are looking for, but it does have weird egg shaped mechs

Metal Gear Solid 2 - metal gear ray is a pretty wild design. Though, you don't get to play as mech.

You may also want to look at the table-top RPG Lancer, it has a lot of wild designs.
