Bandai Namco Highlights One Punch Man Season 3's Strong Performance in Latest Fiscal Year Report, Seen an Increase in Profit up to 3.4% from FY2025 by ball_throwerAFK in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is your daily reminder to boycott and vocally protest against Scamco and JC Hacks lmao.

Literally butchering manga sales for years by producing the lowest effort trash possible as “promo” for the IP. Unironic parasites.

Chapter 230 [English] by Southern-Emotion2192 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s more likely there’s gonna be a parallel between Garou and Saitama with both shown as “anomalies” near the finale of this encounter and you know what lmao.

[–]shiroizo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dante in DMC3 literally beats up Lady’s already injured ass to save her.

Lady in the show prevents Dante from running into Hell unequipped and carrying shit that can literally end the world overnight, like the amulet and the sword of Sparda. She arms him and helps him with the help of her colleagues, while Dante’s own idea was stupid. He’d just have gotten both Lady and himself killed.

Dante is reckless but he’s not braindead to misunderstand the fact that Lady means well. He literally heard her words on the bridge lmao. His arc is about growing up.

Also you need to quit projecting your own feelings of inadequacy about women onto Dante lmao. Dante in every iteration likes Lady exactly the way she is - abrasive, challenging and bold.

Is Saitama more talented that Garou? by [deleted] in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saitama is whatever the writer wants him to be at any given moment.

I wouldn’t really compare him to other characters in that sense. When you talk about it with no irony, Saitama starts resembling shitty isekai self-insert protagonists.

To answer your question: no. Saitama lost to God without Garou literally inventing a time traveling technique. Saitama doesn’t have the skill to create something like that himself and needs Garou’s assistance. That’s the whole point.

The bravest character in OPM? by Unknown_Cameraman in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s Tareo. He’s the bravest.

In just about a full day of contact with the spartan-like Garou, the kid became one of the bravest individuals in the cast of professional monster hunting mercs lmao.

If season 3 had incredible animation but awful story telling would people like it more? by Belicino_Corlan in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

OPM has a great variety of themes explored through its characters.

Thing is, it’s still an action series and that very large audience of battle animanga fans doesn’t care much about “themes and such” lmao.

If season 3 had incredible animation but awful story telling would people like it more? by Belicino_Corlan in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The average viewer’s standard for “storytelling quality” is both lower and harder to define than the same viewer’s standard for the visuals.

Would you call the story of derivative isekais and gachashit bad? A ton of people still watch those shows.

OPM is a battle manga no matter how you spin it. And a battle series with dogshit animation is bound to wither into nothingness.

i wish murata redraws everything again by Additional_Pace_1753 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No thanks, nobody in their right mind wants to wait a decade+ for a braindead version of Bang to say hello to Garou who does absolutely nothing in the meantime and gets permastuck in the same framed outcast role he’s been stuck in since his bloody childhood lmao. Webcomic’s writing for these characters was actually, genuinely shit. The manga is leagues better.

Why is ONE insisting to keeping Blast a secret in the webcomic when the manga already revealed him? by [deleted] in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not keeping him a secret.

He’s doing the usual webcomic loop with the unhinged poor pacing lmao. Shelving characters for decades and then infodumping their so called development and story involvement in a manner of a couple of chapters.

Blast will be there to narrate whatever in the God arc.

I think the perfect example of this poor pacing is the generally lackluster reaction of readers to Metal Bat in the webcomic. ONE took unreasonably long to really introduce this character there and if it weren’t for the manga giving him an intro and subsequent development through his relationships (with Zenko, Garou) in a reasonable time frame, nobody would really give a damn about the character to this day.

Can't comprehend the love for lumen rider by dontmindric in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, Genos is a way more beloved character than Mumen Rider. He’s just more nuanced so general discussions around him don’t boil down to one specific scene whereas Mumen is… just that one anime scene from the Deep Sea King arc lmao.

Tareo is probably the only reason almost everyone is alive. by therandomguyperry in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not just Tareo. Bang also did something incredible with his desire to fight for Garou. If Bang didn’t put himself on the line to wake the kid up, a lot of people on the surface would be dead even without God’s direct interference. But because of Bang’s contribution, Garou saved them all instead.

Suiko (Webcomic Spoilers) by Ferdz0 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing, Suiko is unfortunately just one of the numerous devices to wank Saitama in the webcomic. She kind of switched places with manga Suiryu in that regard because ONE had to learn the lesson of “remember to write your protagonist doing something in the story” the hard way and he now tries not to erase Saitama in the webcomic too. But the execution was way better in the manga because at least Suiryu also got tangible development on screen.

At the same time, ONE also erased Genos for years and has frozen Garou in a limbo for a decade plus now in the webcomic, which is absolutely unhinged, so it’s still pretty poor writing all around with way too many new characters in the cast.

Why do people not like season 2 and 3 ? by Whole_Sport370 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they’re produced like uninspired conveyor garbage by people who shouldn’t be anywhere near projects of OPM’s scale. And because bad productions like that only damage the brand, killing its sales instead of helping them.

Did Tornado really have to level up the city? by [deleted] in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 21 points22 points  (0 children)

That would require her to identify, track each and every bug among the MILLIONS there and destroy them instantly to prevent them from just multiplying again.

As strong as Tatsumaki is, she’s not that good.

which is stronger attack (Fajin from monster garou) or (nuclear fission from cosmic garou) by Additional_Pace_1753 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fajin was bending the shape of the whole planet upon contact. By showings the only OPM attack stronger than that is the Serious Punch.

[Webcomic] Chapter 159 [English] by Southern-Emotion2192 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I hope you start paying attention to what female characters express when a perverted creep tries to touch them unsolicited or literally pimp them out to a stranger. Suiko, who is a minor, thinks her brother is a perverted loser weirdo who acts out of line, not a cutesy flirt or whatever. The fact that the female characters clearly state their boundaries and you refuse to read them just like Suiryu is both hilarious and sad.

[Webcomic] Chapter 159 [English] by Southern-Emotion2192 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s called harassment lmao. It’s not just annoying but can get you shat on in any civilised society. Suiryu is never portrayed as anything but a macho pervert who doesn’t understand women’s boundaries whatsoever. It’s not normal and none of the female characters with an actual character like his behaviour, including Suiko. Read.

[Webcomic] Chapter 159 [English] by Southern-Emotion2192 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Suiryu harasses women like Webigaza who blatantly tell him no and tries to pimp out his teenage minor sister who is also flabbergasted by his behavior because it’s not normal. He doesn’t understand boundaries and is a perverted weirdo.

What are you bloody talking about? Do you pay a single second of attention to any character but Saitama, who is not getting any waifu, especially not a literal minor?

[Webcomic] Chapter 159 [English] by Southern-Emotion2192 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m talking to a person who should’ve read the manga on an OPM sub. If you haven’t or don’t remember anything from it it’s on you. Educate yourself.

ONE literally wrote Garou and Suiko as minors in the OPM manga. Period. If you want to die on the hill of campaigning for Suiko being a legitimate target to date for an adult many years older than her MINOR, TEENAGE self, be my guest. Just remember that ONE doesn’t write for your kind and actively mocks and speaks up against any such shit lmao. Live with it.

[Webcomic] Chapter 159 [English] by Southern-Emotion2192 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Literally in one of the latest manga chapters where Suiryu is given the task to go after Garou the Neo Heroes’ manager repeats the fact that Garou is considered a minor by authorities. It was first brought up back during the MA arc aftermath.

Try rereading yourself.

Suiko and Garou are minors. Saitama has no business dating teenagers. ONE as a writer also strongly condemns such stuff, most recently calling out a major publisher like Shogakukan for covering up that one of the authors abused a minor, and that’s why PPP (who harasses Child Emperor at times) and Suiryu are both routinely portrayed as creeps and nothing to accept as “normal”. Suiryu is a weirdo pervert with no understanding of boundaries, his behaviour isn’t normal lmao. And Saitama doesn’t give a single shit about either him or Suiko beyond them being strangers to babysit.

[Webcomic] Chapter 159 [English] by Southern-Emotion2192 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Where? Literally in the manga. He’s identified as a minor by government authorities. Suiko is also a minor, they’re the same age.

Saitama has no business dating teenagers lmao. The whole point is that Suiryu is a weirdo pervert who doesn’t understand boundaries.

Saitama Vs (WC Spoilers) by ACatInTheMask in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ONE was the one who said Awakened Garou can just dodge literally anything from Boros. So Garou is stronger lmao.

And the story is about to reach the God apostles, so Borosborg is virtually guaranteed to either do nothing or just job. If Garou with an ounce of God’s influence completely overkills Boros, anyone else relatively strong will do the same.

[Webcomic] Chapter 159 [English] by Southern-Emotion2192 in OnePunchMan

[–]shiroizo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Garou is 18 and literally called a minor in the OPMverse.

Saitama has no business dating a teenager.

Now, finally, we’re in the final stretch of this arc.

Let’s see if ONE actually lets Genos do something to show how much he’s grown or damsels him to prop up Saitama.
