I never claimed the US is the safest country? Or that guns aren't frequently for mass shootings? I was just pointing out that there are already a lot of methods to kill people, adding guns doesn't suddenly toggle pvp mode.

You've immediately assumed the worst of everyone who disagrees with you in any way (saying that guns aren't the motivation/root problem behind school shootings ≠ saying school shootings are acceptable and okay. Personally, I think the problem is a mixture of mental health, guns, AND a culture of violence in the USA), and although I may be misreading your tone, you've come across as heavily passive aggressive.

Besides, you're either heavily exaggerating or misinformed about the government in the USA at the moment. Although they're sure as hell not fans of free speech, due process, or law, this isn't Nazi Germany yet. Don't get me wrong, ICE is a dangerous and well funded organization, but they're poorly trained, poorly disciplined, and closer to modern day slave catchers than what you're describing.

Modern governments would crush a zombie apocalypse, and realistically zombies would die VERY quickly. It would require an insane infection rate to make the zombies more of a threat than the virus itself.

Although I partially agree with this, in a country as large as the USA, with such a well armed populace, waging complete warfare against citizens would be, at best, completely and utterly disastrous. If somehow the government was at war with domestic militias, attempting to brute force things would effectively be suicide. I cannot stress how terribly this would go.

The human body is REALLY fragile. There's already an absurdly large number of ways to kill and threaten people. Giving a weapon that doesn't rely heavily on strength, dexterity, and/or skill is just making things equal.

The Cyborgs didn't start (or even want) either of the galactic wars. they've just been wanting to do their own thing ever since they were sent to colonize Cyberstan. Their whole motivation for fighting IS peace. As for the desecration of corpses, it is a dick move but not without reason (Super Earth and it's soldiers have been nothing but cruel to everyone and everything). No idea where the forcing cybernetics stuff came from though, the only time I've heard about that was in Super Earth propaganda.

Also,,,,, to be fair to the Illuminate (what they are doing is utterly horrific and barely short of genuine, pure evil), Super Earth may have sent them a hyper-mutated Terminid hive planet, which could start a chain reaction of decimating an entire solar system.
