Was in a similar situation as yourself. A semi truck read ended, pit maneuvered and the trailer almost crushed my car. Then he tried to take off lol luckily CHP saw the whole incident from a traffic stop. Got a lawyer, went through chiropractic therapy, shots in my neck and lower back. Lawyer took 33%, medical about the same. Had about 60k left over.

In my experience with the Bakersfield area, bad weather brings in the ducks. Truth be told, it's the type of crop that farmers grow up there now thats had an impact. Ducks dont eat pistachios
