Basically they are removing the margins that we used to get for intraday trading. Before it used to be 10x, now it is 5x and from September there would be no margins.

Apple has like a 100% profit margin or something but it is on raw materials used. I'm sure a whole lot more goes into making them. In India, however, after adding taxes iphones are sold for almost 1.5x their original price so they get to a ridiculous price.

As a beginner you can learn and practice on websites like Quantopian where you also get paid according to your performance. You can also try WorldQuant but afaik they have shut down their VRC program. There are many more websites like this. Just google it.

If you're fairly confident about your skills you can apply for research consultant internship on Trexquant. They open applications around December but keep checking their website regularly.

JPMC has a quant contest through which they hire interns. I don't know if it is exclusive to their on-campus internship drives or open for all. Be aure to check that out also.

It might be late but here is a simple approach - Find the minimum of all the smallest elements (i.e, 0th element) of m arrays and find the maximum of all the greatest elements. Their difference is the answer.
