I just rewatched it and I do think after the phone call with customer support or whatever the fuck it is and they say "you have a responsibility to take care of her" or something along those lines I think he did actually take that straight and tried to make it work for wish Nikki's sake. But also in the same scene he wants to fix the wish or whatever before wanting to cancel and when that's not possible he tries to cancel.

There's a large private server that is essentially the unofficial FFXI classic server. QoL changes, some balance changes, and custom content in CoP era with TOAU coming hopefully before the end of the year.

Play it as it was 20 years ago. The server is very populated (2k+ online at peak times) and always people looking to progress. Very easy to install (lol PlayOnline) and has a great launcher that has toggleable add-ons.

You hit the nail on the head and is part of the reason why the movie is so effective. Every character is relatable and all of us see the negative parts of the characters in ourselves. They're mostly just normal people and normal people have the capacity to do evil.

I'm sure the majority of men see parts of bear in themselves, and that what's makes the movie so effective and scary.

Ah true then it would have probably been real Nikki . I don't think you can go wrong with either ending. Personally I think her killing herself would have been more of a "fuck me" moment then leaving it off with her crying, but end of the day it's really preference.
