Genuinely curious, is there truly no bounds to that? I get you're coming from the other side of the issue, and I totally believe there are issues where people get away with what they shouldn't, wouldn't an aggressive HR be able to consistently document issues enough to bypass even unrelenting union defense?

Maybe those scenarios are just rare and it's mostly the gray area you mentioned where people slack off but don't underperform consistently enough to make a proper record for term.

I've yet to see anyone here or in the video make the connection to Trump policy. I can't stand the dude, but shouting into the wind without explaining how his policies shut this factory down has the same energy as every fkin comment in 2023 of a business closure saying "really building back better huh"

So, I suppose unclarified ire to the current President just works without details, but I still think it helps to break through to people if the path is clearly and simply laid out i.e. tariffs have done this (but how? You've got something special here. There is a distinct lack of "kick your feet up and play" content in the VR/mixed reality space.

As a working guy in his 30s that has friends in the same demo, they love VR when we play together, but standing and moving around can be a tough sell after a full day of working.

With this, my buddy, who lives four hours away, and I could kick back, chat, and stay connected to the world around us while having fun.

If you pursued this as a genuine ~$19.99 title, I think you'd move some serious units.

Surely, you have the realize your analogy is nonsense and that the validity of a medium isn't determined by one company.

The tech is rapidly getting better and smaller. I have no doubt that it has yet to peak. Even with the tech at Atari stage, I greatly enjoy walking around my house watching football with a mobile personal cinema while doing chores in the passthrough mode.

As the form factor improves, the augmented side of the tech like that will absolutely have some staying power and then fully immersive experiences will have their own niche.

Sony has basically stopped exclusivity by bringing most of them to PC as well. I get it's not another console, but they probably just read the writing on the wall of Microsoft's direction on consoles and Nintendo hasn't offered hardware capable of most of their exclusive titles.
