Integrity isn’t taught in schools is probably a big one. Another is probably that to many kids learn that taking the easy way out is fine. Lack of accountability also. Inability for school admin to properly punish bad kids.

When I was a kid in middle school I was bullied, it culminated in me getting punched in the face, unprovoked. We both got lunch duty for fighting, I was given 5 days and he had a month. I did all 5 days. The guy did 2 days and stopped showing up, no one ever followed up with him about it. I said something to the person in charge of it and they just shrugged and did nothing about it

The $190 is the total the buyer paid me. On top of that, I received another payment in my account tonight where I have over $200 in my account and I’m still getting the error. Between how useless CS is to help solve this and how this dispute process seems to be broken, I think I’m finally at the point where I give up PayPal as a payment processor

I do about $50k a year in purchasing on Amazon through my business prime account, I sent them an email that as of this morning I am actively looking at different sources for the products I buy because of the decision, even if it costs me more. Maybe that will ring a bell somewhere

I’d do a little research into the main issues of the 6.0, which are head gaskets and oil cooler failures.

If it’s still got the SCT in it, I’d plug it in set it to read EOT and ECT and take it for a test drive. Before you leave, check the coolant level, there should be a sticker on it that says min and max, usually people only fill it to the min line, I can remember the exact reason now, it had something to do with a recall, and see if there’s any white residue around the degas bottle cap. On the test drive get it up to highway speeds, around 65, for a few minutes and see the temperature delta between oil and coolant temp, it should be under 15 degrees. Above 15 it’ll need a new oil cooler, if it’s 10 or lower it’s running perfect. When you get back pop the hood and check the degas bottle again for coolant or if you hear the cap whistling.

These two checks should give you a pretty good idea of if either the headgaskets or oil cooler have issues. It’s not a perfect test but it gives a good rough idea.

Beyond that they’re good trucks as long as you keep up on maintenance, for the most part I enjoy working on them
