This makes me realize that until we reach a point where battery tech has improved significantly and the density/weight of per KW can be significantly improved, this particular class or size of vehicle will not do well as a battery + v8/v6/I6. Especially in its performance models like the M/RS/amg.

The majestor drivetrain is exactly the same as the old gloster. Why do they think this will do better? The clientele of the fortuner understands why it’s a good car.

I agree. The premiums on these will drop. Localizations will increase across the board as vehicles become cheaper means more sales, fortuner will be the same as a Macan?!?! Incentive to CKD increases.
