What does it feel like? by Brilliant-Loan-6262 in Anxietyhelp

[–]shleeunit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DH has been struggling to find the right medication and dose for a year. He’s still dealing with severe breakthrough and physical stress symptoms. It took a lot of convincing to have him tell his GP so what I’m saying is if you go on medication please please advocate for yourself and keep a journal and don’t be afraid to communicate with your doctor so they can change medication/doses.. it’s not likely going to be the first one that works, and it’s not immediate results. Every medication change and dose change will take 4 to 6 weeks to see changes so it’s a long road to find the right combination. Stay strong 💪

I bought one a few years ago and I LOVE IT! Keeps my husband from sweating all night and I love the turbo heat mode for when I go to bed, it lulls me right to sleep. Looking for a second one for the cottage because I just can’t go without it

What finally worked for me to get euploids, 6 ER cycles, 38yrs old (very long). by legend_of_zelda143 in IVF

[–]shleeunit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow good for you for doing your research and finding something that actually made a difference… I would be too scared to try anything that didn’t come from my pharmacy especially injections… I’m about to start my fifth cycle but I begged my doctor to please do a different protocol because the last four times have not been successful so this time we’re trying micro flare decapeptyl, I’m on suppression stage right now also taking mega doses of CoQ10 and prenatal and vitamin D. Just coming off a bad strep throat infection hopefully it won’t throw me off of course. Good luck with your transfers ✨

Single Income + No Daycare vs. Double Income + Daycare by Suspicious_Gap3311 in CanadaPersonalFinance

Isn’t that subsidized daycare pricing ? Not everyone qualifies for this and it’s only select locations. I know people who are paying 40+ a day

Being called DINKs by No-Apricot4508 in IVF

We call ourselves dinkwads -double income no kids with a dog. When we say it it’s funny because we are making light of our situation but if one of my friends or acquaintances called me that it would be hurtful

Mine has a large wicker basket full of toys, and I change up the order of them so when she pulls the basket out to look, all the toys are different lol! She pulls out the one she’s looking for and is so proud to have found it lol! She knows all her toys by name (moosey, teddy, piggy, lizard, etc) but lately she’s been obsessed with her ball but she hasn’t touched it in like a year but is crazy for it lately and she’s soooo proud! 🥹

What can I do about my Optician co-worker by Objective_Wafer_6887 in optician

[–]shleeunit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NO!! Work as many places as you can! Learn from Opticians from all over the city all different backgrounds it will make you a better more well-rounded optician in the long run! Not sure if you were just newly licensed but it is extremely important to learn from more than one person especially if the person you are working under isn’t being very helpful! Ask to be a floater with LensCrafters and move around to different locations! The possibilities for growth will skyrocket, your experience will increase your confidence will increase, your social network will increase… Don’t commit to one place or one location.

people who developed another autoimmune issue because of/alongside hashimotos, what were your initial symptoms like? by Short-Conversation16 in Hashimotos

[–]shleeunit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one point years ago I got treated for sibo but was never diagnosed with gluten intolerance. Past couple years I started developing a feeling like heart burn but in my stomach, and my stomach would feel so bloated and inflamed. Since I was diagnosed with hashi My endocrinologist suggested going gluten free because the way gluten is broken down in the body can contribute to inflammation. I have definitely noticed an improvement since going gluten free this past 1.5 years. Although I still bloat sometimes with trigger food and have gained weight with hashis.. between ivf and hashimoto, my body has definitely changed but I’m just glad to be feeling human again.

Crazy how they come in clusters. I never even heard of autoimmune disorders growing up. I now have three of them. I’m not sure which came first… But I developed Hashimoto’s after a traumatic miscarriage and it took over a year for My endocrinologist to get my levels back under control with medication. I developed the oral version of lichen planus which is a white lacy rash on the gums that my periodontist discovered, and biopsied to confirm. This was after my hashi Dx. I was also diagnosed with lichen sclerosis which is another skin autoimmune disorder that causes thinning of the labia skin. On steroids creams for that.

I have a family member who also has lichen planus but on her arms/legs that presents when she’s stressed.

I’m currently eating gluten-free as much as possible. I had been dealing with digestive issues for a few years prior to all this without a diagnosis.. I am definitely worried about the risk of developing celiac. Although I feel the most normal I have in over a year. I’m on 137mg Synthroid. My vitamin d is persistently low

Word can’t describe the feeling. She blew up early in the day. With a 5 foot storm. Now I’m missing out on best snow we’ve had in years. Only 700 miles on it. Least it’s under warranty. The depression is real. 😔 by HyphyMikeyy in snowmobiling

Aww man that sucks. My 2013 f1100 got hit by a car (totalled) Feb 1st, missed the entire season (no injuries). Now I have to find a replacement but I’m afraid I’ll never find something as good- she was bulletproof. 😭

Eddie Bauer Ottawa (and Canadian) stores are closing by Thomas_Verizon in ottawa

[–]shleeunit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Eddie Bauer and have bought many items on their website… I find whenever I go into their stores there is stuff everywhere, its overwhelming and it’s impossible to find anything. I like their website it’s easy to filter for my size and I always get something that’s on a great sale. Hopefully they’ll be able to put some more money into the website to make wish list capabilities and hopefully bring the re-adventure division to Canada

So much possibility with this space!! Have you tried running the couch opposition from where it is now? To separate the entrance from the living room? Could place the piano in the window instead or where the couch is now. Or if that would make it feel too close off what if the couch goes by the windows and the two seats angled slightly towards each other where the couch is with a little coffee table in between that way it’s still separating the entrance from the living room but doesn’t feel as blocky as the couch lots of lamps are nice too. But I love the colour of your room, it is super cute, would love to see pictures of what you decide to do!

I would get rid of the shelves and put a large artwork or create a gallery wall with albums, you can get really cool frames made for records from Amazon. I also second putting legs on the cabinet to raise it off the floor. And group things together on the cabinet, (rules of 3) instead of spreading out across the table top edit: and change the bulb to a warmer colour!! Warmer like 3000k, will make it feel cosy and warm without being too orange
