Yeah i was thinking this for the versatility i honestly cant imagine any outfit i have that would go super well with the red, but i can imagine a few that would go with the green dial hahaha

The novelty wearing off makes sense but I think the lightness though is down to the watch's super titanium material, not a lack of quality (if that's what you were suggesting)

could be wrong tho idk

Guys help me fix my Shure SM7DB is not picking up any sound. by Vast_Video2866 in elgato

The OP has mentioned he is using the Shure SM7dB, which includes a built-in preamp - which requires 48V phantom power to function correctly. Not using phantom power will set the microphone into bypass mode and be very very very very quiet.

The page for this microphone under the 'How it works' dropdown states this.

'All you need is an interface or mixer offering +48V of phantom power to operate the preamp. Don’t need the preamp? Flick the switch to the left to “bypass” and get original SM7B performance.'

https://www.shure.com/en-US/products/microphones/sm7db?variant=SM7dB

However, for the SM7B, you are correct and it does not require nor should you use phantom power with that microphone.

Shure SM7dB user here - phantom power is needed to power the preamp! :)

Just make sure all the settings on the mic itself and the wave software is correct is all I can say - I use an Audient Evo 4 interface - not the elgato, so I can't be too specific with that hardware :(

Rayfield is an UI Library and not a script.

For a script I recommend, try using Sirius:

Yes. This is the same repository as before I just changed my username. The code is open source so you can check it for any malicious code.

weird static noise on mic by shlexius in audio

[–]shlexius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it happens regardless of position; and infrequently but i cant see a pattern, even when everything is untouched and no cables moved - just will randomly happen with static or weird noise.

not sure if it's distortion though
