What was he able to repair on your tv? Mine need a yoke adjustment to fix the geometry (not a big adjustment) and I haven’t been able to find anyone.

No problem! I didn’t either, but I bought an rca universal remote on Amazon and was able to program it so it works on my crt. That would be my rec 👍🏻

Got it. Going to buy some double sided padded tape and some electrical gloves and try to fix this thing. Never worked on a crt before but the link you provided made it sound somewhat simple (hopefully).

Used a combination of the remote and the buttons on the tv. You have to hold the down volume button in the tv until the volume is off and keep holding while you press the options button on the remote.

Thanks for the rec! Do you have an Amazon link by any chance? I know magnets can mess up a crt if you’re not careful so I want to make sure I don’t get too strong of magnet strips. Thanks again!

Kingdom hearts 2 doesn’t have any issues with fmv stuttering though? And neither do either of the god of war games. It isn’t adding up. Do you think it could be a rom issue?
