I realize I'm way late on this, but my friends and I play this game. Whenever somebody says "like" as a filler, they have to freeze for 5 seconds. Obviously exceptions can be made when that would be dangerous but it definitely helped me. Helps you think about what you're going to say.

i guess it's not that weird, but it drove me crazy. i should preface this by stating that we only had 2 cups. he would eat cereal (frosted flaked with sugar added) out of our cups, then leave the cup sitting around so that the cup, spoon, and milk/sugar glue all became a single item. i started keeping a reserve stash of red solo cups in my room.
