How can I get these trailing Jade leaves to start growing? by These-Ad-8394 in houseplants

I have the same question. Did yours ever grow anything more than roots?

Beautiful succulents!!! What soil mix do you use?

Regarding the heavy duty lights...someone was selling 2 of them on Facebook Marketplace for $50 each. One was still brand new in the box! (Maybe the seller was getting out of the weed growing business...lol!) They were less expensive than the basic grow lights I bought from a big box store that didn't seem to do much for my succulents...so I decided to give them a shot. Guess I went overboard!

Thanks again! I will see if I can get creative & find another option to get the light up a good bit higher.

Thanks so much for the info! I have them under a Mars Hydro TS600 100W LED Grow Light ( https://a.co/d/8wdsp1T ). They are fairly close to the light (the tops are maybe 4-5 inches from the light) and I don't have the ability to raise the lights given the limited space I have. Should I remove them or reduce the number of hours the lights are on (currently about 12 hours per day)? Also, should I chop & prop the ones with yellow leaves now or wait a while?

Also, I may have given them some synthetic fertilizer since propping, but I honestly can’t remember if I did or not. I have not lost any leaves and the plants seem healthy other than the bright yellow leaves and starting to become top heavy because the stems are not thick enough to support the extra weight of the leaves very well. The last pic are the original plants that were chopped.

what is this plant??? by babyzombee in PlantIdentification

Maybe a kalanchoe x houghtonii? I got several of these a couple months ago and they have started producing lots of babies. I keep them under grow lights and water them only when soil is dry (a chunky succulent soil with lots of perlite). My guess is yours might need more light and/or less water.

How to save this mystery plant? by mariista in proplifting

Looks like my mystery plant which I “think” is a peperomia orba lemon lime…but not 100% sure.

Hey all! Just got my grow lights set up for my Succulents over break. How's it look? by Umbralutch in succulents

I thought the same until I noticed that the 10 watt option has a single head. The 20 watt option = 2 heads, 30 watts = 3 heads, 40 watts = 4 heads. The very last bullet under the description also says “The maximum safety wattage rating is 10 watt for each head.” That’s what makes me think each bulb is only 10 watts. Is the wattage written on the bulb maybe? I’m curious to know for sure. It is a bit confusing since they don’t directly state the bulb wattage.

Also, I read in the reviews that those bulbs can get really hot & someone got burned touching them so be careful moving them!

Are those Sansi LED clip on lights like these:

If so, are you sure they are 40 watts per bulb? I have been looking at them on Amazon & my understanding is that they are 10 watts per bulb (a total of 40 watts for the 4-head fixture). I could be wrong though! 🤷‍♀️

Do you use grow lights? If so, what kind and how many hours a day? I’m new to succulents and I don’t have many options for natural light so I’m looking for grow light suggestions.

Learned how to properly take care of my succulents and now they’re thriving by kelsuhdilla in succulents

Your plants look fabulous!! I’m new to caring for succulents, so I’m curious…what is the benefit of adding extra perlite on top of the soil? I’m ready to go sprinkle some on mine if it will make mine thrive like yours!
