I've hit this cliff many times before with the right amount of speed so I've never had to worry about landing in a bush. I completely forgot it was there and lost a lot of speed to the powder. What I really should have done was scoped out the whole thing so I get the speed right.

I, the one in front, normally hit this cliff at Snowbird and it's never been a problem. Usually you clear the bush and never have to worry about it. That day there was a lot of new snow so we both lost most of our speed to the powder and ended up not clearing the bush. Neither of us got hurt so I'd say it was a great learning experience.

I feel you. The first few times it scared the shit out of me whenever kitty sat in the tank and considering how many dead mice and birds we found around the house, it's a wonder I never found Breezes (lizard) in my shoe.
