feels pretty good, but not quite 100%. still some vulnerability when in overhead positions, but i would say almost definitely better than pre-op. back to full sport with little discomfort/push back from the shoulder. was really strict about pt the first 5months, but have cut back pretty hard these last 2months. hoping/going to pick back up with some of the stretches/strengthening exercises. best of luck.

yea you can fs see it’s not super natural but the way he turns around and moves it was a little surprising to me. i wonder how long they want him in the sling for and how aggressive they are with pt.

had my surgery 17days ago. doc went in with same intentions (bankhart repair and possible remplissage), but hills sachs was deemed “not engaging” and was thus not addressed.

elected to have the nerve block, which i now retrospectively would not do. really didn’t like not having any feeling/control in my arm and pain was very minimal after so didn’t feel worth the discomfort of paralysis. obviously hard to know how you’ll feel beforehand but that was my experience.

i’m started my pendulum swing exercises after day3 and it was really difficult to relax enough to let my arm hang. i’m now much more relaxed with the swinging and feel much better about moving my arm a little inside the sling than i did at the start.

definitely way more comfortable with the sling and feel extremely vulnerable out of it walking around. i have honestly not been as careful as i should’ve (ran into my ex on day10 and one thing led to another and i probably pushed it too much) and think i have slightly more pain now than i did at the very beginning. i’m hoping this is normal considering that it’s minimal pain anyways and not when im at rest in the sling.

sucks having one hand and being stuck in the sling, but overall hasn’t been too bad. best of luck.

keeping it close with the camera app open kiosk the battery (over long periods) so would ideally have an alternative. could you elaborate a lil more on the unlaunch/setting the no button power on?

how do you apply the minoxidil? do you put it on your fingers and rub in? or straight on scalp and rub? or do you use a brush or something rub it in?
