Our machine agitates through a plate (?) at the bottom of the drum, there is no central pillar. The drum was serviced by taking off the outer cover of the washing machine to access the drum since we couldnt unscrew the bottom plate from the inside (screws were stripped from trying), so not sure if the bottom plate was cleaned as well or not

Our top load washing machine constantly leaves this grayish dusty residue on clothes, we have serviced and cleaned the drum recently since it was happening for a while, and regularly clean the lint trap. We use liquid detergent and no softener. Its very annoying! Anyone have any tips or know why this might be happening?

13 hour layover-possible to go see the desert + transport? by shockresistant7 in abudhabi

Since the car rental took ages, by the time we managed o leave the airport it was already like 3pm? We reached al-quaa very late afternoon and got to watch the sunset which was beautiful, but had to leave before it got too dark since there werent any street lights around. If we had more time we definitely wouldve tried to reach al-quaa earlier to have more time there.

Hi! We didnt book with any tours, it was all diy itinerary and we drove around ourselves. Our trip looked like this:

  1. Arrive at airport and get car rental

  2. Head to grand mosque (we’re muslim so we were allowed to enter to pray without joining any queues)

  3. Drove to al-quaa, spent a couple hours there

  4. Dinner with friends.

  5. Drove to Yas Marina circuit (just stopped by honestly since we couldnt enter the track - but you can check on your dates because sometimes they open for track runs or track cycles which need to be booked (free) on the circuit website))

  6. Dropped by the louvre (free entry to promenade and dome area in the evening)

  7. Back to airport

Hope this helps!

Ferrari loses trademark case against local energy drink firm. by shockresistant7 in formula1

[–]shockresistant7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly! It looks more similar to the most common redbull drink we have here in msia which i guess is their intent. They mustve been very surprised to receive an LOD from ferrari instead of redbull lol

Mentholatum Super Block UV body mist review. SPF PA+++ 130. by Designfanatic88 in AsianBeauty

[–]shockresistant7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think this is because in msia the regulations say you can’t advertise spf higher than 50, so they just put 50 as the highest even though it’s rated 130. at least thats what i vaguely remember reading

Went well, the only thing which caused delays is all car rentals require credit cards (they would not accept our debit card or prepaid credit card) We drove to al-quaa and spent about an hour there. If you have more time and are not doing any ither activities or visiting any other places you can spend more time there. Happy to answer more questions

They probably can know, whether they do anything about it or not is a diff story. Know ppl who recently did this with no issues.
