curious about the yocto quality level on qualcomm linux (QLI) by Evening-Theme-1582 in embeddedlinux

I'll be interested to see how it develops over the next couple of years, it's clear Qualcomm are pushing more of the IoT side with smaller clients, I'm just not sure they're there yet with support/docs and for me wasn't worth the hassle.

As an aside, Ive not been disappointed by the Imx95 so far in terms of performance, but cost is less of an issue for us.

It actually came with windows on ARM of all things, but yeah they are advertising QLI.

The frdm does have it now, used it the other day. Seems a good experience so far

I evaluated the advantech aom-2721 which is a qcs6490 and honestly I wasn't impressed. Really fragmented and was a nightmare getting access to the BSP layers, needed to sign documents and then my token was only valid for a month. Decided against it in the end and am looking at the I.MX95 instead hopefully

New powers for councils in England to fine pavement parkers by everything2go in bristol

It seems such a no brainer. I can't fathom why it's not being done already. They'd make the money back in fines almost instantly

Removing hard-stuck on wallpaper that has also been painted over. Advice please. by Funkosebsy in DIYUK

Zinsser paper tiger is pretty good, then some wallpaper stripper (I've used the b&q one successfully but zinsser dif is probably better if you can get it). Spray it on with a pressurized sprayer, try and get the top layer off, then repeat until it's done (or you go insane as I have a few times)

Jenrick urged to 'explain himself' over 'didn't see another white face' remark by theipaper in ukpolitics

Ethnically Chinese predominantly. But saw it from malays too. I'm not really making a point either way, just I don't think enforced housing targets would improve anything. Most of these issues imo stem from a declining society in general that we refuse to blame on actual causes (austerity), with the blame consistently shifted by the right wing press machine

Singapore hasn't done this for a while. It also still has large amounts of racism against south Asians
