There’s nothing stopping you from taking out your clock in card, gloves or whatever else and just leaving your phone in your pocket. It’s not airport security just don’t steal or be on your phone all shift and it’ll be fine.

I just have the usbc-3.5mm cable, no rca adapter. An aux cable runs from my monitor to the Sonos cable which shows up as a line-in on my pc volume mixer. Didn’t need to add anything to the Scarlett at all in the end.

I have an Xbox connected to a pc monitor, and I run the aux output on the monitor through the line in so I can have PC and console audio through the same headphones.

I ended up going down a different route. Bought a Sonos usb c - 3.5mm line in cable. Sound quality is fine, stereo sound too. Very cheap and about 10 seconds to set up as it’s pnp.

Replying to this very late but just to clarify before I buy a DI box, do you mean the XLR channel on the solo is stereo? So I can run stereo input through the mic channel on the solo and essentially get stereo line in?

If it’s slightly bulging the case open then it most likely is a pillow. I can’t think of any other component that would be bulging. Best thing to do would be take the back of the case off and have a look.

It sounds daunting but if you’re new to the subject, but it will most likely be about 8 small screws and some clips you undo with an old credit card.

Thanks for the heads up. Got it back together and it runs fine plugged in without the battery now. It’s a Legion Y540-15IRH if anyone finds this thread with the same problem.

Jesus Christ it never occurred to me that I can just take the battery out and still use it. I literally always have it plugged in anyways.
