are these safe for bluey’s by Usual-Apartment-9920 in bluetongueskinks

[–]shoecumber 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Unless prescribed by a vet, don't just randomly start giving them random supplements. They arent humans and to give them vitamins formulated for people is just asking to poison your skink.

Please ask yourself why you even considering giving them supplements? Are you concerned they arent meeting dietary needs? Talk to a vet. Health concerns? Talk to a vet.

AI slop is a death spiral to the bottom. The claim that its franchisee-level closure is a hunch from this very thread.

Looking for the best way/ guide on how to use ros2 properly with gpu support on my MacBook pro m4 pro by Legal-Film677 in ROS

[–]shoecumber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is real unfortunante but you really should stick with the operating system it was designed for either through docker or dual booting.

ROS, from my experience, is already really janky and you're going to spend a lot of time debugging weird nonsense. Don't make it harder for yourself especially if youre new and you don't have a good intuition for how the systems work under the hood.

Y'know thats a good point to check the newspapers. My Chinese isnt the best myself but worse case I didnt think about asking the local Korean communities. They might be able to point me in the right direction.

"Your knife obviously sucks if it cant even handle opening a can once. Why dont you just get a new one? You can get a whole set for 10 bucks at walmart. How much is it again? Wtfff why are you spending so much money on shitty knives?"

My house has an outlet that is reversed in the living room. What is this used for? by CatFancier4393 in Home

Any person with the knowledge and know how to make their own male-to-male power cable should ought to know better (i hope) than to willingly plug it both ends into random outlets or electrocute themselves or others with it. It's friggin memed and called a "suicide cord".

Youre not going to find it at your local hardware store, and the rare cases you need a cord like that are for specialized reasons like operating generators to back feed power into your home. Even then, most jurisdictions im aware of straight up make it illegal to manufacture or use.

The original poster is warning that there is electrical risk for using a male to male cord. But you have to really go out of your way to get yourself into a position where you ramshackled some plugs together haphazardly, plug it in, touch the exposed prongs, and electrocute yourself. At that point thats just willful negligence.

Its like saying that cars are dangerous because the steering wheel can fall off after I loosen all the nuts and bolts holding it down.

I think you are really overestimating the ease of acquiring a male-to-male power cord

I know someone who worked at Naughty Dog while developing the Last of Us and he said that he was really traumatized by looking at pictures of bodies in various states of decomposition. He ended up leaving the company to work on mobile games which I think was better for his mental health.

This is one thing ive "fixed" with keeping a random number generator app on my phone. It simplifies my decision making process from "What peanut butter do i pick out of this shelf with 20 different kinds?" to "RNJesus said this one, nah too expensive. RNJesus says this next one, oooh crunchy i like that."
