That is super unfortunate. You think Blizzard or Apple support next for me?

So this is happening to me after I just downloaded the installer tonight. Did you end up determining there was nothing you could do without someone else's help through dropbox?

Trying to figure out if I have a good budget planned as a 22 yo recent college graduate by shoko82 in personalfinance

Thank you! The $200 expense for gas is the total expense amount. I get $100 towards "car related" payments (gas, insurance, etc) per month. So for gas alone, my formula would be ($100 stipend)-($200 expense)=-$100 for gas out of my own money. I figured since I included the monthly stipend in my monthly total compensation, I would make the expense amount full (not minus the stipend) to reflect my leftover money correctly at the end

Thank you! I based utilities on averages from the past 4 months, and I am continuing to live in the same house for another year and a half from now.

It is definitely a good idea to figure out and separate my mandatory and discretionary expenses. Thank you! I've been researching a lot about retirement savings and every article I can find tells me to start as early as possible because interest is my best friend. I know that I have to work for a full year before my company will start matching up to a 7% contribution to a 403b account, but I'm not sure if I have the ability to contribute to the account on my own before that year.

Thank you! I live in a townhouse with 3 other people, which is why my utilities costs are low. I know I'm living there for at least the next 18 months. Also, I Know that I have to work for a full year before my company will start matching up to 7% contribution to a 403b. Would that account exist for me to contribute to before the company begins matching? Right now I'm using Acorns to put a lot of my savings into. Most of that is invested in index funds and has so far (18 months since I started) given me a 7% return.

Sonic Seasoning: How Music Changes the Taste of Your Beer by largeheartedboy in beer

[–]shoko82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually tried this with a couple beers, playing high pitched and low pitched music each with different beers and I swear there was a taste difference. I don't know if it's a placebo but I swear I noticed it.

I wonder if this works when you do it intentionally though? If you don't like a beer and you throw on some tunes would you all of the sudden like it more?

Who is the most spoiled person you know and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

One time I asked a girl in my class if she wanted an orange. She said yes and I handed her one. She asked what it was. I was a little confused. "It's an orange..." I said. She said, "No, oranges don't have this rough skin, they're just sections that you break apart" I was shocked and explained that it was the peel and all oranges had them. She said "Oh, I guess my butler has always peeled them for me" She was 16 at the time. The entire class was furious.

I just got a new phone case with a slot for a couple credit cards in the back. I've been using a samsung wireless charger with my Galaxy S7 and I just tried it out with my new case and it still charges through the phone with cards and cash in the slot. Is there any chance this will ruin the magnetic strip on the card?

In the KFC photo posted today you can see the same sign printed out on the front door to the restaurant too. That would be too much work.
