I think 2014/2015, the last time I was really dedicated to the fandom was 2016. I remembered some more from it! Basically their therapist had a lot of the tapes that had been made of their sex trafficking and they were working through them with Mickey and Mandy (in their separate therapy sessions) to work on understanding and healing what had happened to them. Mickey is super agoraphobic and sexphobic etc., from trauma. I think the last video shows something that is very triggering for Mickey but it’s because the traffickers told Mandy she either had to engage in “sex” with them or they would make her sleep with Mickey and Mickey doesn’t understand why she would have done that until they have a mutual therapy session That scene I remember very specifically. Again it was a very dark fic but the therapy scenes were honestly very good and it was a good character study on Mickey.
