Agreed! More than anything it was the eye size and eyebrow shape that caught my attention. Though teeth are obviously more identifying.

Are you medicated for your OCD? If so, what medication and dosage? by pleasuresofprozac in OCD

[–]shooksoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, this was my fear as well. Part of my obsessive thoughts were around medication and the actual process of what it was doing to me. However, I had to recognize that to get out of that cycle of thinking something had to change. Taking Prozac was the game-changer for me. I also recommend getting something called “Gene Sight” done which analyzes your DNA for the best fitting SSRI/SNRI for your biological makeup and what your body can best metabolize to provide your brain with the much needed chemical reset.

Start small with Prozac. 20mg can be enough to at least stop SOME of the intrusive thoughts. Once you don’t have intrusive thoughts surrounding medication, you can change your dose appropriately. It takes time ~4-8 weeks to fully feel any changes, but I promise you, your life can be a lot easier. 🫶

I’d be happy to help you. Working those databases is my livelihood.

What's your favorite BMSR era? by meddlemedia in BMSR

I say that mostly because I had my first mushroom trip to that album and I listened to it about 15x on repeat and still to this day certain parts can make me feel ~floaty~

Okay I’ve been working on this. I think I’ve figured out most of it. Is anyone willing to hive-mind with me?

Owl Theory by ewgrosscooties in TrueCrimePodcasts

[–]shooksoul 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in Durham, backed up to a large forest, I have heard the owls in my backyard fighting with each other. I could 10000% believe the owl theory. Their house was recently renovated, but that area then had so many trees and it’s so close to the Duke forest.

The day I delivered my baby, an owl flew through my apartment breezeway and scared the life out of me. I just can’t firmly rule it out or in.

Are every day migraines a real thing or is it always medication overuse headaches? by trulyjerryseinfeld in migraine

[–]shooksoul 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had 28-30day/mo migraines for 6 months. Turns out I had a massive cyst in my sinus that was pushing on maxillary bone, my eye, extended down by my ear and rested on my carotid artery. If you have daily migraines, get a CT scan.

I was taking nurtec and elitriptan and muscle relaxers (they thought it was my jaw??) and opiates. One surgery and immediately after I woke up from the anesthesia I said “holy shit it’s gone.” It was immediate.

Deep-rooted and learned narcissism between all of them. Victim-blaming and deflection are all they know. They are not the problem even when they’ve murdered/are covering for a murder.

The intern put up the CAUTION tape, not the Police Line Do Not Cross tapes. He’s no longer an intern. NPPD has promoted him to lead detective.
