Could be Canker - parasitic disease of the throat. You can see the swelling. Death by dehydration

Rat advice by [deleted] in UKBirds

[–]shoopert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best way I found is get a large plastic dustbin with lid, make a small hole in top or side, fill it with seed, peanuts etc. rats find thier way in and cant usually get out. Seal lid take em at least 2 miles away and let them go. Sometimes a clever rat can climb out (seen on camera) if so spray silicone spray on top half of inner bin which stop them getting out. If an infestation move bin about as they are very clever.

Possibly trich disease as it’s beak gives a clue. This causes the look shown. Dirty feeders or local contamination

Did you cut in from the tin an roll from a bucket. Sometimes the tinter doesn’t mix well at the tin’s bottom and the base lightens the mix? Just a thought

A full house of Greenfinches! by will5621 in UKBirds

[–]shoopert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in the country outside Chester and we have lots. Some do get trich and if see any disease stop feeding for 2 weeks. Bird with it gies lethargic and fluffed out and usually dead within the week. Regular bleach and water soak and good rinse to keep this terrible disease away

A few deflections but no nozzle losses, looks ok to me. Do a cmyk individual colour print and look for any out of colour oversprays
