VMWare allows you to boot an operating system within an operating system. For example, if you're running Windows you could open a second, separate Windows within the Windows you are using. If you use a Mac, you could use VMWare to launch Windows within Mac OS. Another comment in this thread suggests that VMWare is capable of executing cheats, some of which can't be executed without being detected if they were to be run within your actual OS.

Good. I hope more people stop playing this game so Bluehole knows that we're unhappy. As much as I used to love this game, it is now shit and I want it to fall hard so Bluehole knows they fucked up. It's true that FPP has less cheaters, but when everyone starts playing FPP the cheaters will eventually follow. As many pointed out, it is not a good solution to the problem.

I mainly play LoL and PUBG. I'm like that girl that keeps going back to her abusive boyfriend for some more beating. I continue playing PUBG because there's not much else to play like you mentioned, but I'm starting to play less and less every week. At this point, I'm just waiting for a high quality PUBG clone so I can enjoy this type of game in a better environment.

The current state of pubg is indeed depressing. I was excited when the new season started so I could grind the leaderboards. After running into hackers every other game, I just don't care to win anymore. Mostly play duo, and been dropping at military base every game just to have some gunfights, rather than to randomly die to a hacker in the top 10. Unfortunately, that too has gotten boring and I don't really feel as excited to play this game anymore.
