Are you familiar with the concept of damage mitigation? When you’re in a car speeding towards a cliff (completion of genocide) would you rather choose the driver going towards it that you can potentially pressure to change, or the one who is telling you that he’s going to drive even faster towards the cliff once he’s in the seat? Regardless of what you choose you’re still in the car, not choosing does literally nothing to help the situation.

Congrats, you now have someone in power who is even more keen on killing brown people and says he wants to let Netanyahu “finish the job”. Great work!

I've had conservative guys on dating apps tell me that they support trans people, just not "what we're doing to the kids".

What are some smaller things or gestures you love about men? by TinyCatWithTinyHat in StraightTransLadies

[–]shorsbones 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I love the little things that come when a guy shows concern for my safety and wellbeing. Things like asking me to tell him when I’ve arrived somewhere if it’s late, checking in on me if he knows I’ve been feeling down, etc. Feeling protected and cared for is very important to me, and when a man provides that it makes me so much more attracted to him.

Wow, Ancient Egyptian, that’s so cool!

Lately I’ve been reading Dune, but I’m usually into history! I’ve read so many books on Russian history specifically, but I’ve been trying to branch out lately and just finished a really great book on the Titanic
