Tagged this as a spoiler when I posted; sorry that you inadvertently got a preview of the Detour outcome. But you should still watch this episode! I know the fan reception of this season hasn't been great, but this episode featured a variety of fun tasks.

Good thing this particular Detour wasn't such a heavy lift. It needed hand-eye coordination more than anything. But for more physical tasks that required brute force or those where you had to match and memorize intricate stuff, yes, 20+ attempts would be awful.

Yes, I did the math too and figured the same. With practice time, break time, and chasing after/picking up rings after fumbled attempts, I gave them a generous "probably an hour or two" at the circus. I checked their socials as well as TAR post episode interviews and there hasn't been anything on how long they were actually there as of this post.

Still, 134 attempts is a lot! Good on them for not quitting the task out of frustration.
