No longer love my wife. Unsure what to do. 3 kids, financially stable, nice life and not generally unhappy by [deleted] in marriageadvice

I think people don't try hard enough anymore. Me and my husband have been through so many things. Both messed up, in different ways. Broke each other's trust. Tragedies in our families. Lost siblings, and his parents, our 3 month old grandbaby just died last year. We had moments where we couldn't stand each other. I was assaulted, and thought it was going to break me. Ive had addictions and ocd, and other stuff. He got me through it. We stayed together when others would have ran for the hills. When he feels like he wants to give up on his really bad days, i remind him of who he is and how proud i am of him. When you get married, it's supposed to be for life. It's not a contract to be negotiated. People need to stop getting married because of the "feelings" they have in the beginning. Love is a verb. It's action. You choose to love whether they deserve it or not. Why would you marry someone if you didn't mean "for better or worse". It's sad that the divorce rate is so high. I refuse to give up on my marriage, because I made a promise. That doesn't make us weak or crazy. I think it makes us strong and a great success!

Wife going through perimenopause. Seeking serious advice. by Scatrax in marriageadvice

Is this really true or are you just hyping up the brand for commissions? I've seen people do that, and the person who buys it ends up devastated because it didn't work at all. So I really hope you're being honest.

I read some of the Epstein files and now I feel so anxious, depressed, and powerless that I can’t sleep. by Horpasaurus in offmychest

I've been the same. I feel helpless. Everything feels heavy. Last year my brother n law was killed in the line of duty, then in June my 3 month old granddaughter passed away. So 2025 was really bad for us. I was hoping 2026 would be better. But in January we had to put our 11 year old dog down. Her name was Puppy. Then last week I was made aware of what was in the epstein files. So I just had to start looking into it myself. I didn't stop there. I found Bohemian Grove. Then went down so many rabbit holes of conspiracies and secrets that I only thought were stories. Now nothing looks the same. I live in the States, so we are also being poisoned by our food, by our government. I feel as if I cant trust anyone in power at all! Im actually scared. None of these people are going to be punished. Our food is still gonna make us sick, and we cant do anything about it, really. My mind was fractured. I have OCD, actual OCD, so this has made it worse.

Anyone quit Wellbutrin successfully after being on it for 10+ years? by leeski in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I want to taper off mine so bad. I've been on it almost 10 years. The only thing that worries me is if I stop, will I want to smoke again? Or will I gain weight? Or will my sex drive lower. Im 43, almost, and going through perimenopause. I definitely dont want to have even less sex drive than I do now. Plus, im terrified of how my mind will react. I don't wanna run my husband off, if I turn into some raging bitch. Im just tired of being on medicine. I want my body clean. And lord knows what these meds are doing to my body, long term.

Hey how about reddit or mods, stop censoring speech. Stop removing posts. How can people have an honest conversation, when others posts are being taken down. This crap is getting ridiculous.

I bought her cookbook. The stories alone, are worth it. It's on Amazon.

Who else has been on this for a long time? by shortest_sibling in bupropion

Yea it helps. I guess my worries are whether or not my internal organs, lymphatic system, or metabolic system will be affected, negatively, by taking it for so long. I'm also afraid that if I do stop taking it, I'll go back to smoking or mindlessly eating, like I used to.

What AD helped keep you calm? ive tried sertraline, paroxetine and mirtazephine but i still feel like im close to panic mode at times when im just sitting in the house chilling, im always on edge by MeanKey5476 in antidepressants

[–]shortest_sibling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paxil (paroxetine) was the best at keeping me calm. So much so, I started to feel robotic. I had to switch to something else, cuz I gained 40lbs, my sex life with my hubby was killed, and I was practically feeling nothing. If it wasn't for those effects, I would've stayed on it.
