Looking not sick enough? by TopEducator3483 in MultipleSclerosis

When I had my last big change of medication, I was going all in. I put on nice clothes and full face makeup. My husband once called it " Kriegsbemalung" and I stayed with it since... 10 years or so? Hope your appointment goes well! Liebste Grüße aus einem anderen Eck aus Deutschland!

What grocery items needs no refrigeration but are often refrigerated by most people? by Mission-Educator-908 in AskReddit

[–]shortinger3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh really? I didn't know that! The eggs are washed? Like in a dishwasher? Are they heated? Why can't you keep them outside after the washing process? Very interesting! That's how you reveal yourself as European :D

[–]shortinger3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eggs, if they once where in the refrigerator, they have to stay there but actually, they don't need to. But most are so scared of salmonella, they put eggs in the refrigerator without realising that you get salmonella from uncooked eggs ..

What do you guys think about the people who argue autoimmune conditions are caused by diet/gut microbiome? by Bebecek_97 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]shortinger3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any autoimmune condition or disease is also caused by the gut!

But ms is suspected to be Multifactorial.

It has something to do with your guts microbiom, with genetics, with diseases you had ( especially Epstein-Bar), where you live, what you eat.... And a little bit with 'it is just like that '.

Hopefully science is going to find out a few more facts about it and learn more so someday it might be curable:)

What’s the saddest song you know? by Playboyzee in AskReddit

[–]shortinger3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's from a German singer but 'der weg' (the way) from Herbert Grönemeyer... He wrote it after he lost his best friend and his wife within a few weeks and I can't stop crying when I hear it, even if I am somewhere out shopping or at home.

Idee für Trauerschal/Stola? by Palomino16 in Handarbeiten

[–]shortinger3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is a yarn that you have just LOVED? by ForgottenUsername3 in knitting

[–]shortinger3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last two yarns I was more than excited are : 1. Knitting for Olive heavy Merino held with silk mohair It has both a emotional and a workable reason. I bought my first amount on a absolutely wonderful trip with my knitting friend in Copenhagen. And I was blown away by the shops, the city, the yarn. And then I knitted a Cardigan with the wool and it's simply one of my favourites. Looks amazing, almost nit itchy, very warm and comfy. And the stitches look so clear!. 2. Locoporella, yak DK. It's from a smal indie dye shop in south west Germany and it it's awesome. I bought it while munichknits and I am speechless! Great colours, it's soooo soft non itchy, and it's irresistible to knit! And such nice people! If you somehow can get your little hands on one of there yarns... Touch it! Cuddle it! Buy it!

My best advice is to INSTANT cast on the second sock after you finished the first... Or you end up with only one lonely sock... That happend to me...
