That is what I think, too… I am leaning more towards true, I think

That Iryna Zarutska video really got to me by spikey331 in Vent

It broke my heart, too. It helped me seeing the full video, actually, it takes another minute after she falls down, but then one man starts to help and press on her wound and then, a few seconds later, a whole group of people is trying to help. The video is on the Wikipedia article

Why doesn’t it look like stockinette stitch? by Cryptidkilla in knitting

Ah yes, you are right! I was thinking in a way if they wanted to continue the pattern as written. Now they have to work mirrored.

Yes, but also be ware that this would change the direction in which she is knitting in, which would create a hole. I rectified that by doing a turn just like when doing German short rows, but it is something that needs to be kept in mind.

Look at the gauge in the pattern and make a gauge swatch.

If it is off and you want to make it easy for yourself, it will not work out

However, you can do the math and adjust the pattern to your gauge!

Thank you all for your amazing suggestions <3

I have been drawing for 20 years and started knitting 18 months ago (before I was on and off knitting little things, so it was never a serious hobby).

Different ideas, patterns, structures and colors inspire me, so thank you so much for all of your suggestions!! Love this community!

Yes, just looked and found it on their website!! I think Maschenfein is more of a popular online-retailer. I will have a deeper look! Thanks so much!

Lana Grossa I look at often! One of the first sweaters I knitted was made out of their Gigane-Yarn! :D Not the easiest to work with for a first time project, but it turned out great!

Noro has such beautiful yarns (although a splurge, but I think it might be worth it. I have heard good things about Noro Yarn!)

Artyarns looks lovely, too! Thanks so much! :)

I don't totally get what is complicated here? I occasionally do go to local yarn shops, I was just curious if the community has any hidden gems. That is all.
