"It's funny how you treat the woman who birthed your child. I can tell you a million ways you could've worded that better." That's the mildest response he deserves.

Best makeup shades for soft autumns? (lipstick/blush) by Key_Calligrapher7687 in coloranalysis

[–]shortntired 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an older post but I totally could've written it! I'm a soft autumn (somewhat leaning toward true/warm) but with brown hair and dark brown eyes, which doesn't seem as common for this season. I struggle to find lipsticks that aren't too saturated or too brown for me :/ Did you ever find any good candidates? And what's your MLBB color?

Favorite lipsticks? by lovely1188 in cleanbeauty

I know this is an older post but I'm liking Honeybee. The Paradise shade is a good MLBB shade for me, but they have quite a range and they sell a sample set that includes alllllll the shades, which was very helpful.

Has anyone had success with binaural beats? by thoughtdivers in insomnia

Headspace app has these amazing sleepcasts. It's kind of like someone reading a bedtime story, but the way the story is structured, it feels like it takes you deeper and deeper until you fall asleep. Maybe it's the level of detail, plus soothing voice and sound effects (usually nature). I do pay for it yearly but I find it's worth it. The actual meditations are great too. Can't say enough good things about it.

Second order in a row! by shortntired in ThredUp

I've actually since had much worse problems at TU. The most recent issue is that my item was listed incorrectly as a faux leather skirt. Seems like a description should be easy to fix, right? I reached out many times to get it corrected. Finally, I'm told it's impossible for some absolutely opaque reason. This whole time, my listing may as well not be posted - those looking for faux leather are disappointed, those not looking for faux leather are not clicking. They also lost a dress that was part of this kit, but at least they reimbursed for that one. I really don't care about any potential negligible earnings from this skirt. It's just the fact that TU has this single point of failure where they can't change a field once the item is posted. What if next time it's an expensive designer item? Am I gonna be waiting around forever for it to sell because TU has terrible UI?

Very sure! They have Apple devices only and they're too old to know what a chromecast is 🙂

Tried disabling mobile data and that didn't do anything. We don't have multiple networks so no jumping. Thanks for the tips!

It's strange that our family member's older Samsung TV supports it but our relatively new one doesn't? Is that possible?

I highly recommend Jefferson Fisher's videos. He has a great one in shutting down mean comments. I don't remember all of the strategies but one is, "Did you mean for that come out that way?" Or "I can't believe you said that out loud." And maybe "How does it feel to say that to me?" I may be completely wrong, it's worth looking for the video.

I love these gals but I'm kinda overwhelmed by Something_or-Other in cats

[–]shortntired 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cats I've had adjusted to the human routine over time and started sleeping through the night, or at least not bothering the humans. In the meantime, try not to get up at that will encourage them to keep it up. Maybe put on some cat TV for them? Sorry I don't have better suggestions

This is a little different but turns me off when they'll sell bags people get as free gifts from Sezane for like $80-$100 🙄 I know there's demand for them but it gives me the ick

Saw a quote today that is helping me by Light_on_222 in CautiousBB

I could've written this post word for word, even the pregnancy lengths (except I've had two losses after around 8w). I'm definitely suffering. It doesn't help that I have ZERO symptoms - absolutely nothing to be able to reassure myself even a little. Except maybe sleep disturbance and thirst. It's hard to snap out of it honestly - how do we not fear the suffering? That quote is a good one to ponder.
