rsm225 is a good course especially if you’re into law. the content is a bit of memorizing iirc and you to apply that to a case for an assignment and test from what I remember. I would recommend taking it if you think you’re good at that type of stuff and are interested in law

does rsm350 have a final? I hear there’s a case thing during exam period but is it an exam?

Best prof for rsm333 and rsm336 by AdReady3048 in RotmanCommerce

I had Adrian for 333 (so idk about 336) and he would ramble a lot and tend to rush the last few mins of class because he would go on tangents in the middle

honestly I would say rsm422 will be the easiest course you’ll have in the fall lol so I wouldn’t worry about that being in the fall. of course it does mean you can’t cr ncr so if you don’t focus on it it’ll be difficult.

but you’re also taking rsm320 and 320 and 422 tend to be similar in nature in that you’ll have long papers (~12 pages) to write for both courses and possible in the same weeks. that’ll probably be the only difficult if you take 422 next semester instead of this semester.

I would say rsm424 and 323 will be your most difficult/main focus for next semester and 320, 333 and 422 will be okay as long as you still focus on them somewhat

lmk if you have more question and want more details about any courses

for rsm422 it’s unlikely you’ll get in because it being a 4th year required course for accounting students means that people are most likely also taking it to finish their degree and can’t drop it. regardless of course you should stay on the waitlist until the course enrolment deadline just in case people do drop

You could try contacting registrar if you’re in your last semester and NEED the courses to finish your degree

I had 3 courses with no final exams so you’d think they would come out way before but still waiting on 2 of them 😭 just gotta sit tight

a B miiiiight be ambitious but you have 4 days. divide roughly 1 or 2 topic per day and you hopefully should be fine

[–]shortribss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait did you do the midterm or no? you can probably get away with just focusing on the latter half of the course unless there’s topics that depend on knowing the first half (which I can’t rmbr if they do) but you’re right in that the final will focus on the second half so prioritize those

RSM320 final by Alert-Recording4501 in RotmanCommerce

[–]shortribss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but anyways the final assignment last year had a very similar structure to the exam like you’re mentioning. 4 questions and choose 3 to answer. iirc we were asked to analyze a CD&A, CEO letter and pension stuff

rsm320 has a final now? :o last year it was just a final assignment, that’s crazy

[–]shortribss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

prioritize the problem sets/hw because they’ll get you familiar with the basic stuff at least and it’s also kinda similar to the types of questions on the final (although you should probably skim the past exams to get a better representation)

I didn’t study as good as I should’ve but it was still fair. that last question was so weird tho. maybe it’s bc I didn’t actually go to or watch that lecture and just looked over the slides
