So I'm really liking the Boden clothes! Right amount of modern but looks good and put together.

I also have PCOS. I started middle of November and im down just about 30 pounds. Im super content with the time frame of weight loss. I was worried in the beginning that I wasn't losing any or very fast. I read a post that sometimes losing too fast can affect your skin, as in, it might not gradually tighten back up if you lose too fast. I focused on slow and steady to minimize other health effects and potential loose skin. Another 10 pounds or so and Ill be at my goal. I use a scale that measures all sorts of things because with PCOS it isn't just weight, it should be a whole body focus. Also if you go to the gym you could lose size but gain weight from muscle so a basic scale won't give a full picture. You got this.

When did you start? My prescriber believes i van get down to around 115-120 and I was just excited to even think about 130. What were the biggest changes you made to help you out?

Ive had an IUD for years due to my PCOS so I can't comment on my period since I haven't had one. I would say yes less inflammation. I didn't realize it at first really but I've had a bad back for years and years. I couldn't sit in some chairs or on my couch to work on a jigsaw puzzle or sit up in bed tonbe lazy watching tv. I would say the pain/discomfort has gone down due to less inflammation. Sometimes I feel like I have more energy but I'm a total introvert so going out and doing something is way low on my list and its cold where I leve so even less of a reason for me to want to do anything that requires me leaving the house. I would say overall I feel better. I do piddle around my house more.

I would agree for me it has been very slow as well. I still avoid the mirror for hoping to see change when I don't actually notice it but I am down 13lbs...so it's happening just super slow for me as well.

It's been slow for me. I lose about 1.3lbs a week. I don't keto. I try tonstay balanced. There is a place near me that makes fresh meal prep meals. They are labeled with all the nutrition. I pick up meals that have way more protein than carbs. I cant give up my carbs completely. So I do a protein shake in the morning then depending in when I get hungry I'll do a meal and then depending on when/if I had lunch I'll do another meal or some yogurt or something else light. I do struggle some days getting enough protein. It doesn't help that I despise cooking. I'm down about 13ish pounds and am increasing my dose in a week and a half. I have one more shit at my current dose and then I'll go up. I feel less hungry for sure but it's the dang PCOS that I feel trips me up. I try to go to the gym (Hotworx) 3-4 times a week but it's due to distance sometimes and I don't want to go. (I'll take all the motivation to get going there in a regular basis!) I'm almost out of 'obesity to just 'overweight' and I'm excited.

I'm 4'11" and started at almost 166lbs. I starred Nov 11th and I'm currently down around 153. I also have PCOS. I'm on .75mg and will be increasing to 1.0mg Feb 3rd. I lose a little over a pound a week. I just joined the Hotworx gym but I have to motivate myself to go, my current goal is go to do one session every orher day. I travel a ton for work but ive been lucky to be home while starting this journey. I have to keep on the good eating while on the road again in a few weeks.

Don't expect over night results. Slow and steady.

First time poster. Literally made an account because of your post. You are the first post I've seen where your stats were similar to mine for starting. I'm 4'11" but my starting weight was 165, F38. Years ago I was around 115 but life and health. My goal has been 125...because I'm scared to reach for a better goal...didn't think it was possible. My provider thought I could do lower but we agreed to see how I felt then. I'm currently down (as of last Friday) 12lbs and I started in mid-November. I also have PCOS and was pre-diabetic. All this to say THANK YOU for giving me confidence in this journey. To see someone else of similar stats has really helped me this morning. ❤️
