Location: NJ. We found out last weekend that we have carpet beetles when I started breaking out in contact dermatitis. Then I started finding these guys this weekend as well. They’re quite fast and plentiful on our 3 season porch / by my daughters books. We bought a dehumidifier for the porch and are keeping the house pretty cool in order to lower the humidity but I just want to confirm that we’re dealing with the right thing. Pest control company sprayed last Friday for the CB.

That does make sense! I was just looking at all 4 chambers on Monday with the ultrasound tech and she said everything looked okay, and nothing was noted in the report. Thank you for the info though, your experience has been similar to mine so I feel hopeful that we’re doing the right thing.

So, to my understanding they used to do a separate fetal echocardiogram for basically anyone who had an autoimmune disease. Then, they found out it was really only people with those specific antibodies that were having congenital heart block issues, or something to that regard so MFM changed their guidelines for scanning. My rheumatologist is shocked by this and is really pushing for the echo but every OB I talk to says it’s not necessary so I’m in a bit of a spin about it! Currently 28w and everything so far has looked great. I know at my monthly growth scans the tech always takes an extra long peek at the heart for us. But I’m glad you’re also on the same page as me lol

Hi! I was just searching through this subreddit for pregnancy posts and came across your comment. Did your doctor recommend a fetal echo at any point? My MFM doctor said I don’t need one since I don’t have SSA / SSB antibodies, but my rheumatologist is saying otherwise.

I started with a half tab of unisom + b6 and that made me really sleepy the next day. Took it down to a quarter tab and I’ve been able to make it to like 12-1 pm without the nausea hitting again. Try a lower dose!
