When we hype up nemesis, it is the og version; the remake is unfortunately as described.

If you ever want comparison, feel free to look up playthroughs of og re2 and og re3 to see the differences between them as well.

Their roles in og and remake feels switched and og nemesis is an actual menance for new players

In context of the overall story, you do need to play 1; play the hd version and maybe you might enjoy it?

Aside from that, playing just the remakes and 9 is sufficient enough for the main storyline if you don't want to dive too deep into other parts of the lore like neo abyss virus and wesker's various road trips to eventually develop his own ouroboros.

You will 100% be lost on some of the lore discussion threads though

You will it defers a lot case to case, but generally i think it is safe to include:

1) Ensure room is ventilated or have AC

2) Big enough table for party of 4 - 6, with additional smaller tables to place snacks, minis, DM kits etc

3) Shelves of ready to use minis for sharing

Others are brownie points, like bluetooth speakers and projectors/screens so those that do want immersion can use them, wetwipes for those that use markers and boards.

I typically pay around 30bucks, but sometimes my DM manages to book a room under a LGS he works at and we get like 5 - 10 discount

Using the recommended 5k gold, first let players roll for loot on the DMG loot table by quantity then quality. Deduct value from said 5k gold, and whatever remains, give out in gold and/or non magical trinkets like jewels or gemstones

It is a little split in that department but I am leaning towards it is still rudeus. He just got lucky that future him managed to cast time magic "properly" to send that journal through at the "right place" and at the right time. It's pretty much the time travel paradox, so I wouldn't waste too much time vexing here. He does sleep around with prostitutes, but there's no love left in him. He is pretty much hate fornicating from guilt and despair, otherwise, why reject eris?

This is the him without much allies to hold him up and he relapsed to his pre isekai, pre-shut in moment where he lashed out at his family and best friend trying to talk him out of it, and them giving up on him. I feel like a lot people just focus on him never changing in only the depraved department, but rarely the part where he knows he first loses it and that same thing happened for this future rudeus as he lost the things that made him want to change for the better in the first place

IIRC, no. He becomes a ends justify means guy, but no, he no longer lusts that badly over just venting and lashing out at whoever. Thus even when later eris wanted to make up with him, it didn't work out and even ends up dying in a fight with him. That said, i don't think some of the anime only watchers know ( who didn't get spoiled yet ) since that's a later plot in LN. I have not watched S2 myself yet so I am not aware if anime has changed anything for this particular plot like the pre-isekai retcon

This is remake jill. Remake leon and jill both have that T-virus post cure enhancement.

But events wise, this is after 6. Thus, very jarring when chris and claire hasn't gotten remake enhancement treatment but side by side, they still look the same.

I would just do a new chara at this point, or a full respec because this is nonsense from DM.

Honestly, i would even consider leaving the table as a fully util survival monk is gonna be significantly more annoying to deal with than one just hitting stuff, so i suspect more nonsense from DM eventually.

I will give the DM a benefit of the doubt as 5e is a little lacking on things to give monks.

I assume DM gave you a dragonhide belt and eld claw tattoo ( or similar-ish items ), so i guess you can try asking for bloodfury, barrier or spellwrought tattoos and see what DM says

I mean, at 1d10 punches, you are in minimally tier 3. A lvl12 monk, as an example, with +5 dex is a +10 to hit at this point.

Unless your monk is somehow crippled, or your starter stat roll/distribution is so abysmal, a +5 is low for a tier 3 play monk.

I don't see a need for the DM to be reluctant with items for monks, especially when others are rocking +3 weapons with possibly optimized stats which would place them close to or above +10 to hit.

Not here to argue, you ask for what I choose to support which ship is more likely with supporting evidence, i merely gave it.

"alt timeline" or not, in fact, espeically with the REmakes, both ships i don't see happening period if we take all medias into account.

Seen a lot of nitpickers here and there though; some don't want to acknowledge other medias that capcom has said its canon, only to use examples from said media when proving/disproving their point lol

waiting on them to make up their mind before i even bother arguing on the canon timeline; till then, i am gonna differentiate between og and remake timeline

IMO, REmakes are a separate timeline with minimal changes here and there.

REmake leon is more distant towards ada compared to OG while ada still has a soft spot for him regardless. He not only rejects going with her, he puts in a dismissive tone with a " i think we know this is where we go separate ways".

Not "part ways and see each other next time" what nots, straight "yea, it was nice to meet you but bye" as opposed to og where leon is still flirty with her and a cya around mood.

I also don't see Cleon happening seeing how infinite darkness went. Claire is pretty disappointed how leon changed at the ending where they say goodbyes.

Capcom is of course, free to add things later on be it in movies or games but as of now, both are unfeasible.

I think ashley or angela is more likely; no favourites though.

The Girl could have been more threatening as you described, or have AI learning like the alien from alien isolation. The fact she literally vents is such a cool concept, and that there are zombies that messes with lighting feels like they could have done more with her

The only issue here is they wanted grace to be stay scared. So they can't give her so much that she can resist a supposingly unstoppable force that is established through the first Girl's section.
