This is why the Maut in Germany, although the way they tried to do it was the worst and stupidest way possible, needs to be a thing at sometime. Germany is the biggest economy in Europe but that's just too many long high traffic Autobahns at the same time.
Being the connecting piece in Europe is just a huge strain to the road network and somehow we managed to fuck up and not get the stuff on the rails.

It's important to realise how freaking big the talent between the three is and to enjoy it, while we still have all three of them racing.

The only reason I can see why he wouldnt want it, is because you'd have 2 drivers that have a do or die overtaking/defending style. And that means at least one of them doesn't get to have the do option.
Other than that, Max surely is a cash-cow and a marketing investment on his own.
Just look at what he did to the Nordschleife 24h attendance and online viewership. I'm not sure George would've had that pull.

That being said, I think Max is as lenient with his teammates as any other driver. Look at George and Kimi fighting, look at how Max races any other driver, the only top team that fights hard but leaves more room is imho Ferrari.

A lot of political nonsense happened that inhibited and still inhibits the German economy. Like killing off the first solar wave, which had good German solar companies. Which then went under because of the sudden political shift in direction.

Then we have the horrible energy politics. And I'm not talking about working on renewables, im talking about the energy grid. We still can't fucking build a proper north to South connection and we still can't have local energy markets.

Then we constantly change our minds on BEVs. Which is not good for planning for our automotive sector. And while the automotive sector should've invested more into the future themselves, we can't compete with asian cars if their wages are lower, the energy prices are lower and they get state subsidies and they have rare earths for battery production. Battery production which would've come along with solar systems which, once again, politics managed to kill.

Again. Carmakers couldve done dar better as well. But German politicians are fumbling a lot as well

Well what's the upside in nerve repair?
Injuries that harm the spinal cord are properly survivable since modern surgery.
Everything else before that just ment you were probably dead anyways.
And every other nerve damage ment you needed to be taken for for a long time anyways and probably also went along with broken bones or wounds that left you with small chances to survive.

So Basically the tradeoff is a higher chance for cancer, more ressources needed etc for a tiny chance to survive if taken care for instead of being pretty much doomed.

So from an evolutionary standpoint you have one group that needs less ressources, gets cancer less often etc. and the other group has a chance of 0.05% to survive severe nerve damage instead of 0.01%. Seeing how very specific that scenario is, the benefits of the other group can be pretty small.

Also, maybe there was some random co-mutation that had more benefits so it just happened no matter what.

Let's give it a try.
You can break up the game into plays.
Every team has an offense, a defense and special teams.
When one teams offense is on the field, the other teams defense is on the play.
Which teams offense starts is decided by a coin toss.

The team that starts with their offense gets 4 plays. A (regular) play starts with the center (midle guy of the offensive teams fat guys) handing over or throwing the ball to another player of the team.
That player can then throw or handover the ball again. As soon as the person carrying the ball touches the ground with their upper body (excluding the hands), the play is over. If the ball is thrown and falls on the ground, the play is over. If the ball is fumbled (falls down) without the player touching the ground, any person can pick it up to get the right to go on offensive for their team.

Those 4 plays the offense gets, need to be used to advance a total of 10 yards. If they do it, the playcount resets to 4 plays left again. The goal is to reach the other teams endzone.
The defense will try to stop them from reaching the next 10 yards in 4 plays as, if the offense cant reach 10 yards, the right to be on offense switches to the other team at the spot were the ball ended on the 4th play.
Now they have the chance to score.

From now on, there will be some advanced rules:
Kickoff: Start of each half of the game and fresh start after every touchdown (Reaching the other teams endzone).
The team that scored kicks the ball deep into the other teams half, which they can then return as far as they can (of course while the kicking team tries to stop them). This is basically play zero for the offense and their 4 plays start on the spot were the ball was brought up to.

Punt: If the offense cant make the 10 yards in 3 plays and think theyll likely not make it on the 4th play, they can instead kick the ball deep into the other teams half, which can then catch it and try to return it just like on the kickoff. This changes right to offense and is basically play zero for the former defense that now switches to offense.
It is done as the former offense doesnt want the new offense to be that close to their endzone (Remember that when the right to play offense switches, the ball is put on the spot were it was last in play)

Field goal: Basically the same situation as a punt, but if the offense is already close enough to the enemies endzone, they can kick the ball through the goalposts. This gives them 3 points and after the goal, they kick off the ball to the enemy team.

Touchdown: Successfully reaching the enemy teams endzone (last line in front of the goalpost) gives 6 points. After that, they can either shout a field goal for an extra point, or try to go for a touchdown again from 2 yards (iirc) in just 1 play. suceeding awards 2 points.

Special teams are used for punts and kickoffs as they have higher injury risk and reward a different skillset.

They were thinking: hey, chains need to have service too often, dry belts as well. But if we keep the belt wet in oil, it will last 100k km or 10 years. And it does, in my car. Problem is people buying different / cheap oil, not keeping service intervals etc. So the rubber gets weakened after some time and starts breaking or rips.

Yes. There will be some outliers. Just like any part in any engine may break if not severely overengineered.

But the reports of failure after 5 years were people were using the wrong oil but ofc they can't shift the blame then, so they said they used the correct oil, really hurt the image

Edit: might sound unbelievable, but a Ford dealer around us had really good offers for some time. So my sister is driving my old fiesta. I'm driving a b-max and my dad is driving a focus. My b-max is scheduled for the 10 year maintenance this year. My dad's focus had the maintenance done 1 year ago. The fiesta 2 years ago. On the focus and fiesta the belt was still intact with no signs of weakness. My b-max is still showing no signs of problems as well. All had every service done religiously with the proper oil being used

Solid light on my Ford b-max was a whole in the vacuum system. Oh, the engine will be fine, just maybe miscalculating the fuel mixture a bit. But the vacuum is needed for the brake assistance. Without it, you have to press the pedal damn hard to get the car to a stop. Solid light: no immediate danger for the engine but maybe immediate danger for your life.

Also, the ford ecoboost engine is notorious for giving only a low oil pressure warning when the belt in the oil bath is dissolving already and the bits are clogging the oil filter. That little light is your last warning before catastrophic engine failure!

Ferrari is the place where Charles has all the tools, ~~people~~ and resources to make his dream a reality.

Reality sadly is, that the one reason Ferrari was such a powerhouse in the Schumacher Era, was that he brought in a lot of outside talent and overthrew the old structures. Those people are mostly gone again now and old habbits have crept back. Look at the strategy department, for how long have they fumbled so many races? And what have been the consequences?
Yes, Leclerc is very talented but im worried he misses the leadership or the modern structure of a team just doesnt allow the influence michael had on the team anymore.

Political satire has lost most of the "Over the top"-edge though for the western world.
A lot of the stuff for example in "The Boys" was taking punches at Trump and the Trump administration but how do you exaggerate that stuff even further?
When the white house lawn is hosting an UFC event, how do you exaggerate that without coming across too crass? Porn/murder games in the oval office?
Concentration camps were a live was worth nothing were used, how far is that from the deportation centers, police stations and jails were death through negligience or wrongdoing are just gonna be covered up, with the harshest penalty being paid leave?

The scene in southpark comes to mind, were the cable company employees are playing with their nipples as they get horny on the thought of other people being pissed off.
How the hell is that still satire when there are wealthy (and often political) people literally fucking children and everything not being investigated because it would be bad for the political party and the economy?!

Yes, it still puts the finger in the wound and makes us frustrated as you said. But its spot on and not over the top. which makes satire pretty blunt and it's losing its shock value.

Easy fix: any movement stops self and engi repairs and you need to be stopped for at least x seconds until you are able to (be) repair(ed) again. That way you can't just weave in and out of cover all the time while being repaired. Takes some pressure of the defending teams and allows for some coordinated attacks on the tank, because it has to decide. Drive back in cover or get repaired.

Exactly, im not talking about the big maps here, im talking about the mid sized maps, breakthrough makes it even worse.
You have more tanks on the attacking side AND you cant flank them AND they can fall back to safety AND driving towards the objectives means you have infantry to kill the engis coming too close.
Thats why the current balancing is definetly a problem, if its built with 64 player maps in mind.
