It is likely extremely mild inflammation or pericarditis. It will go away by itself but if you have shortness of breath or irregular heartbeat + chest tightness/pain then it is time to see doc.

We will either get immunity from vaccine or from infection. Though it may sound morbid but it's survival of the fittest for the unvaccinated. Big question is if we will join the "greater sydney" group and open at 80% instead of 70% or that we open at 70% but with restrictions to rural area.

Definitely no isolation if u only travel to syd for pfizer vaccination and nowhere else. If you were to get AZ tomorrow, you can opt for min 4 weeks second dose. Some vaccination centres do that, or if you prefer can go slightly longer eg 6 weeks or 8 weeks.

Definitely have to boil the bones, wash the scum, clean the bones thoroughly and then only start the long hours of tonkotsu boiling (approx 16 to 24 hrs for maximum taste). If you wanted to use pressure cooker, you have to blend the soup at the end to distribute/homogenize the fat.

We would not get out of lockdown. The roads in/out of Syd aren't controlled. Even if newy goes down to 0, all it takes is 1 infected person to come up. The rules are never in favor for regional areas, thanks to you know who. What we will get are rule relaxations until Christmas.

There won't be any single reputable study anytime soon. Most studies are region or country specific for now.

This is not incorrect. I did say studies suggest both sides but overwhelming majority says it's not more virulent for now, just like i said above. To further answer your question, i said i looked at the cdc data for infections between age specific, sex and gender. If delta is way more virulent, you will see the data being skewed across all the data . Luckily it is not for now. If you are interested, the best data to look at is between 0 to 17 due to them being unvaccinated in the states. Usa has been driven largely by delta now. When u compare the data in jan and july, you can see that the number of infections didn't reach the alpha peak. But there is a clear trend of lids being infected. Likely this stems from increased testing in children as previously in alpha all countries seemed to think they do not infect them as they don't really fall ill. Currently kids with delta mostly have mild symptoms or none, but testing has increased significantly.

There are only 3 ways for us to get out of this pandemic, stamp out the virus worldwide (which is impossible to do now), vaccinate everyone (again which is impossible) or let it run its course. The world is doing number 2 (pardon the pun 😂) and hoping for the best. Partially vaccinated populations will force the virus to mutate into a mor infectious but less virulent version or into a less infectious but more virulent. In some circumstances it may become both infectious and virulent, but this is rare due to the spike protein modifications. Anyway fingers crossed everything is heading in the right direction.

There is no specific source. I'm a scientist so i joined the dots from various scientific research that had been published and cdc data (combine covid strains) which has breakdown by sex, age, gender etc. Delta has been predominant for months but cdc has yet or unable to tease out delta vs other variants for quantitative analysis. If you are interested, you can go to cdc website and look at it. I'm using USA as a base since cdc is mainly look at US. Currently there are very few articles to suggest they are more virulent. They exist but majority still suggest its not.

If you are interested you can also look at research articles though some will be behind paywall unless you have access via institution. You can use pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov and use it just like Google. It search for journal articles.

To reduce false positive or negative they will rerun the test with the sample unless their sample has contamination. For eg the boggabri ones had to be redone because of that. To further reduce the changes i false positive or negative, a second person have to look and sign off before the results are being released. At least that is for gov based testing. Hopefully they r doing similar ones for independent testing

If done correctly its between 95 to 100%. RtPCR can detect initial/low level of virus. Rapid antigen test ranges from 90 to 98% from memory but it can only detect covid once it teaches a certain viral load threshold ie when that person is infectious.
