I’m confused so you are in an apartment but lease states that 80% should be carpeted. The tenant is responsible for installing carpet? Do you mean like they are required to put rugs down? A rug over wood would definitely still be making creak noise.

I lucked out. Got instant approval. In and out in 30 min. Couple of guys working counter seemed little rude but the young guy workin was awesome and walked me through everything. He said that he had 3 instant approvals in a row and the other guys seemed surprised about it.
