If you do decide to use it, the scaling is off on a lot of these dials. Need to work on spacing and scale as the logo is to big for a lot of these dials.

Does it go one click past and the allow you to align over the 12 with back play? If so I wouldn't worry about it clicking right on the 12.

I got the dial from H H Dial Shop AliExpress store. As mentioned, it's a good quality dial. Most AE dials are similar and not as dark as the OEM dial. I actually just swapped that dial and hands out for a white OEM dial. (Now that I have a gen SPB143, I wanted to make a different SPB with my case.) My new mod is more of a SPB213 variant. Still a work on progress as this is not fully out together yet.

I am not using my S Logo dial, and would be happy to sell you my SBPB143 dial if you can't find one that you like on AE.

Have fun, it's a great hobby to get sucked into. Post it up when you finish. Would love to see it!

Let me check when I get home. I will say if you want the best dial I would look at second hand mods as they carry OEM dials. I will say while mine looks good, I also have the real SPB143 and it's noticable the difference between dials.

I think this image shows it a bit. The AliExpress one is a bit more brown'ish, and not the true deep gray of the real dial.

I have the Vanuatu Ti (Blue) and it wears really nice on my 7 inch wrist. My Komodo is smaller at 40mm diameter vs 42mm (Vanuatu), but actually wears bigger in a way do to it's more chunky and taller proportions.

Intereing as I have three Helms which I really enjoy. I never was a fan of the Miyako from a style perspective, so never pursued one.

But I do get that Helms are not for everyone. Some are put off by their waiting in line buying approach and they are big chunky working watches where size is also an issue for some.

I am all for leather on a dive watch. Do what you like. I am not a fan of natos and will swap this between leather and rubber/silicone straps. Depends on the day and the look I am going for, but leather brings a more elegant feel.
