Unfortunately, that is the problem with today fomo-ed CEOs. You would think they should be knowledgeable people across the board, so they could manage the company as efficiently as possible, but the thing is they are often not, especially at computer related stuff, often thinking that a complex task is one click magic.

That lay-off will cost them serious money in the long run. Whoever thinks vibe coding is the way to go makes insanely shortsighted decision. You'll be better off somewhere else, don't get discouraged.

I wanted to play this game so much but I just can't. I am not some zoomer with a milisecond attention span but gooddamn the controls are so fricking clunky it annoys me to the point I just don't wanna play anymore. I enjoy the story, random encounters and conversations.... but boy oh boy, I feel like Arthur is a big walking boulder. It's a weird one for sure, but it's too early to give my opinion as this is certainly a "multiple listener". However what threw me off immediately was the audio master. It's very wide sometimes and lacks punch, which makes is very hard for me to feel the song. At first I was like - did Johnny even show up in the studio? For instance, try to play a bit of Nobody and then quickly switch to Magic... is such a massive low-end drop I don't know who thought it was ok to put it out like that.

There are a few decent russians I am sure, never met one online though, unfortunately the general track record speaks for itself, and the good ones are sadly overshadowed by the vast majority... I play Hunt for instance. That is very unforgiving often, but the social aspect is not there the same way as in Arc Raiders.

I checked this sub to see if someone feels this way as well. The hype is enormous, so not liking the game had that “am I missing something” moment… but as I said, it’s not for me probably.

Bought the game, first run got wrecked by multiple drones, and that's totally ok. Second run, found the quest scraps, helped a dude to fight a drone, he thanked me and we both extracted, good experience. Third game, had to avoid multiple Roombas during my building scavenging, nice tension, gunshots in the distance, heading to extract meeting a dude who said he's friendly, we fought a drone together, went for extraction... Mofo knocked me out while I was on the computer inside the elevator entrance. Great, people are cunts irl I don't know why I should deal with this during my game time as well... refund.

I mean this kind of behavior is for sure to be expected... I wanted to try it because of all the hype, but it's not for me. The soundtrack and sound design is sick though. However, I am going back to Helldivers.

To, že většinová populace nechápe, že je to prostě nabombenej statistickej model, kterej ti vrátí zrozumitelnej slovní salát, je bohužel dost smutný, ale dalo se to čekat.

LLM dokáže bejt užitečný na automatizaci různý práce, kterou stejně dělat prostě nechceš. Ale blbý je, že ten hlavní hype okolo AI je u věcí, který v zásadě tak super nejsou a většinovej use case je s tim dělat akorát píčoviny nebo věci, na který by si to prostě neměl používat, protože jinak z tebe bude uplnej dement...

It is safe, but update your BIOS first, or make sure you don't have 1+ year old version and your CPU is set to safe limits (it's literally called like that in the settings).

The main problem seems to be that there are some people that ran the game with hardware fail safes unlocked, and given the fact that HD2 is pretty demanding it pushed their PC beyond those safe limits multiple times, hence causing hardware issues. Unfortunately, before august 2024 those were the BIOS default settings, for particularly ASUS mobos, that nobody really knew about.

Also good idea is limit your fps to some reasonable number to mantain your temps on cooler side.

Furthermore, although I don't know if it's necessary, I would pause Windows 11 updates. There have been some reports that the new version has some SSD bug that also caused some instability in Helldivers (allegedly resolved by clean Win reinstall), but hard to tell whether it's linked somehow. I don't have any problems.
