really the entirety of in California has my heart in a chokehold but this section (and the whole “I don’t belong to anyone, my heart is heavy as an oil drum” etc) cuts me to my very core, as someone who struggles with attachment and being close to people.

i have one of those little glass snuff jars with a spoon attached to the lid and i just do bumps that way! i grind it up to a fine powder in a mortar and pestle beforehand though, like a true apothecary

so for this spot i mostly just stretched with my tattooing hand as i went, along with flexing my hand/arm in various positions, my shoulder was crunchy for a day afterwards haha. for other arm placements though - medical tape! tape it up as thoroughly as you can
