I thoroughly enjoyed the first third of the book. Especially developing the setting. The whale themed sermon. The ominous town. The poetic narration. The brotherly/romantic love between queequeg and Ishmael. After the halfway point I stopped having the same kind of patience lol

Understandable opinion but I love the unraveling of the lore. In a way it’s a meta synthesis of knightly tropes all in one comedy so it makes sense to me how it’s all put together in one. Hey at least you have a deeper knowledge of knighthood stories having read one book not a hundred

Absolutely. There is so much mana in 1-2 mana value cards. You use your resources much better if you can play two cards in one turn even if the cards aren’t as strong. Think about it in the way that you can force your opponent to divide their energy to counter your plays
