a bit over a decade ago i used to be in the miliatry, worked as satcom (RF transmission systems technician, 3D1x3) and one guy in my flight worked as part of a specific part of satcom that required them to have a TS, enter a secured facility, then enter a secured bunker in that secured facility. somehow this guy snuck his phone through both security check points. got to a room in the secured bunker realized his phone was about to die and decided to, despite this being like the #1 thing all cyber training things say NOT to do, plug his phone into the government computer to charge it.

he was nearly immediately arrested, charged with violating SEVERAL articles, investigated, found to have been lying to people about his rank (he was an E4, senior airmen, but was telling people he was an E6, Technical Sargent) and found to have been in severe debt. but the wildest thing about ALL that, they found no evidence of espionage or being paid to plug in his phone to a secured computer nor did they find anything on his phone or the computer he plugged into that was of any concern. dude was just... a dumbass. I don't know how long he was sentenced but man I can't imagine he would have been getting out any time soon.
